Location: Keesler AFB is located in Biloxi, Mississippi on the Gulf Coast. Fourteen miles to the west is the Naval Construction Battalion "Seabee" Base. Keesler AFB is located approximately 1 hour east of New Orleans, LA; 1 hour west of Mobile, AL; and 4 hours south of Jackson, MS.

Schools: Contact the Biloxi school superintendent's office, 228-374-1810, for school zone and assignment information for public school students. School bus transportation is provided by Biloxi Schools for all children residing in Keesler housing attending a public school beyond one mile from the housing area.

Housing: Discover a better way to live! Working hand-in-hand with the U. S. Air Force, Forest City Military Communities offers privatized housing at Keesler Air Force Base. Forest City manages, maintains and revitalized the neighborhoods at Keesler AFB by building a new community center and upgrading parks and greenways to blend with the natural charm of Biloxi. The following must report to the Consolidated Dormitory Management Office (CDMO) and will reside in unaccompanied housing dormitory:
- Single E4 and below with less than 3 years in service
- Married military to military E4 and below with less than 3 years time in service that are not accompanied by spouse (spouse stationed at different base)

Apartments are available on a long-term and short-term basis and some complexes offer furnished apartments. The housing office has a "rental partnership program" with many complexes in the community offering financial benefits (including waived security deposit and application fees) for AD members.
