Location: Tobyhanna Army Depot is located in the Pocono mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania, twenty miles southeast of Scranton. Nearby cities include Mount Pocono, Cresco, Canadensis, Tannersville, Scotrun and Lake Ariel, PA.

The Tobyhanna Army Depot Housing Office manages 42 Government-owned, on-post family quarters. These include 28 three-bedroom and 14 four-bedroom units with attached garages. Styles include both townhouses and duplexes. To view pictures, floor plans, square footage, and additional information visit Army Housing Online User Services. The waiting list usually ranges from 30-90 days. Be prepared to have alternate housing when moving to Tobyhanna due to the waiting list. Application for Housing
Housing applicants must complete DD 1746, Application for Assignment to Housing, and send along with a copy of the soldiers new assignment orders to the Housing Office. Upon arrival report to Military Personnel and in process, then report to the Housing Office. At this time applicants will be placed on a waiting list. Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (UPH) - Single Soldier Housing
Barracks rooms are available for Permanent Party Personnel, E-5 and below, who receive Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) without dependents. The rooms are in the typical 1+1design with a shared bathroom. All individual rooms are furnished, and include a refrigerator and microwave. There is also a full kitchen, lounge area with flat screen TV and DVD player, game room, and exercise room available. There are wireless and hard wired Internet services.
Exceptional Family Member (EFM) Housing
There are two family housing units included in the inventory of 42 quarters that are designed to accommodate exceptional family members.
