After a long hot summer it is finally beginning to feel like fall here in Middle Tennessee! While we enjoy the warm days and cool nights that autumn has finally decided to bless upon us, it is a perfect time to get out and enjoy some fabulous fall activities in Clarksville.
Honeysuckle Hill Farm
For a day trip sure to please both adults and children alike, head out to Honeysuckle Hill Farm to enjoy all of your favorite seasonal classics. At this 34-acre Springfield farm, the whole family can enjoy corn mazes, hayrides, the pumpkin patch, petting farm, apple orchard, and much more! The General Admission fee of $10.95+tax includes most of the attractions on-site as well your very own pumpkin from the Honeysuckle Hill Pumpkin Patch! Stick around after dark to enjoy the family friendly ‘Honeysuckle Hill Farm Nights of Lights’ pumpkin ride light show, or Scream Creek Haunted Woods (for teen and adult guests). APSU Homecoming
If you’re an APSU alumni or just enjoy taking part in local university school spirit, Austin Peay will be celebrating Homecoming Week October 22nd-26th. This year’s Homecoming schedule includes a variety of events that are open to the public, including a student talent show, concert, golf tournament, 5K run, parade, football game, and much more! Fright on Franklin
Enjoy a night of frightful fun at the 5th Annual Fright on Franklin in Downtown Clarksville on Saturday, October 26th from 3-7PM. This festive Halloween event for adults and children of all ages will include safe trick-or-treating, costume contests, a Halloween Hayride and more. For the Pinterest-savy parents, be sure to enter your child in the new “You Made That?” category, where homemade costumes will go head to head for prizes! Pre-registration for all costume contests will be required, so make sure to visit the Parks and Recreation website to sign up early.
