Searching for military homes for rent or sale? Consider Chesapeake or North Suffolk:
#13 Greenbrier Shopping Center
Chesapeake, VA
Greenbrier Shopping Center is a huge outdoor shopping center, primarily stocked with chain stores. There is a mall and streets of outdoor shopping including Bed Bath Beyond, Michaels Arts and Crafts, Babies R Us, Target, Best Buy and many more. Here is a list of restaurants within the Greenbrier mall area. My favorites are Taste Unlimited, Bakers Crust, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Abuello Mexican restaurant.
Nearby Neighborhoods: Read reviews of nearby neighborhoods. (disclaimer: I am not as familiar with the neighborhoods in this area so I am sure there are lots of great neighborhoods not mentioned. If you have lived in this area, please leave a review so we can add it to the list.)
#14 Harbour View
Suffolk, VA
This is a newer area with really nice restaurants and shops.
My favorite casual restaurant is the Broken Egg and favorite fine dining it Vintage Tavern.
This location is ideal if your spouse might work at Norfolk Naval Station (NOB) and Newport News Shipyards or anywhere North of the tunnel in the Cities of Hampton, Newport News, Yorktown, Williamsburg areas.
Nearby Neighborhoods: Riverfront at Harbour View, Steeplechase/Kempton Park, Joliff Woods and Burbage Grant.
