Things to do in Nashville for Couples

9 July 2013 by

You’ve spent a day out with the ladies, and gotten in touch with your inner child; isn’t it time to reconnect with the special person in your life with an excursion for two?  As I’ve mentioned time and time again, Nashville is an entertainment meca filled with activities to please visitors 9 to 90, and the activity base for couples is no exception!

Whenever we head to Nashville for a daytime getaway, we love stopping by Tavern Midtown on Broadway.  Their Sunday brunch is a hit for two, with 2 for 1 cocktails (Wicked Bloody Mary for him, Blood Orange Mimosa for me) and delectable dishes like their Red Velvet Waffle, Pretzel Pancakes, Huevos Rancheros, and Turkey B.L.T.  If the menu highlights aren’t enough to have you penciling in your next Sunday visit, then maybe the possibility of star gazing will do the trick as Tavern is becoming quite the celebrity hot spot (via Nashville Noise).

If you’re looking to enjoy the outdoors together but want to save the sweat for another day, head over to Cheekwood Botanical Gardens and save 50% off admission with your military ID.  While at Cheekwood, enjoy the 55 acres of botanical gardens, take a walk through the Carell Woodland Sculpture Trail, and take in the beauty of their museum of art.  Planning an evening visit?  Don’t miss the enchanting outdoor Light exhibition by British artist Bruce Munro.

Last but not least, when it’s time to end your night, be sure to rest your head in style with a stay at one of the many fine lodging establishments Nashville has to offer (and be sure to ask for the military discount!) The Hermitage Hotel, Union Station Hotel, Hutton Hotel, Gaylord Opryland, Renaissance Nashville, Hilton Garden Inn at Vanderbilt,

If it's just a girls trip to Nashville, here's your guide.
