There are lots fun things to do in Pensacola, Florida. I'v given a list of outdoor activities in Pensacola, but if you would prefer to beat the heat and stay indoors...
Here's a list of Fun Indoor Activities in Pensacola
The Naval Aviation Museum is the place to be. Located onboard NAS Pensacola, the museum is open Mon-Fri from 9-5 and 10-5 on Saturdays and Sundays. The Blue Angels are there to sign autographs on Wednesday mornings at 11:30. We have been there at least 10 times and we still haven’t seen it all. They have a restaurant inside that has tasty burgers and sandwiches. Another great part about the museum is the indoor playground, I take our daughters there a few times a month just to play and enjoy the A/C. While you are on base, be sure to check out Ft Barrancas and the lighthouse!
There is also a Children’s Museum downtown (115 Zarragossa St) admission is $3/per person. It is kind of small but a lot of fun. The downstairs part is more suited for younger kids while the upstairs area has more historical learning activities.
Another fun indoor activity that my kids love is Storytime at the Library. Check out your public library for lots of fun, FREE activities. For more information, call the Pensacola Public (Main) Library at (850)436-5060.
