If you love oysters Peg Leg Pete’s on Pensacola Beach is the place for you. They have indoor and covered outdoor seating. We love going early and ordering an appetizer and enjoying the live music and entertainment. I love the vibe at Peg Leg Pete’s. It’s a place we always bring our family and friends that come visit, but it also fun for just the two of us or a small group of friends.
If you love the old town area of Pensacola you must try Dharma Blue. It’s located right off Seville Square. Dharma Blue has a great variety of sushi, steak, and pasta. This is not only a great dinner place, but they have a fabulous lunch menu, too. The outdoor seating has a great view of Seville Square Band stand and the gorgeous, ancient Spanish moss covered trees.
Jackson’s Steakhouse is the place to go for great steak and they have an excellent wine selection. They offer gluten free and vegan options. The location on Palafox is perfect for dinner before events that happen down town. Their lunch menu is excellent, too. This is a must try for anyone new to Pensacola.
If you’re looking for excellent southern style food, look no further than Five Sisters Blue’s Café. You’ll love their extensive menu and the appropriately priced items with large servings. Not to mention they have some of the best musical talent coming into the area. You will feel at home in their cozy atmosphere. I also love their bar's custom drink menu.
The best way to end any night is at the Dueling Piano Bar at Rosie O’Grady’s located in Seville Quarter. You’ll be singing your heart out within 5 minutes, I promise. The Dueling Pianos starts at 8:00 so it’s the perfect post dinner event. Get there early for good seats. They say it’s the best dueling piano outside of New Orleans. I’m not sure if that is true or not, but I’ve always had a good time.
