With two, newly renovated floors of activities for children, all ages will enjoy the hands-on museum. Children's museums are not your typical museums. The garden is hidden next to the Norfolk Airport off Azalea Garden Rd. Celebrating it's 75th year, the Norfolk Botanical Garden is a non-profit museum for plants. The zoo opened in 1900, and was accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums in 1987.
