High desert clinic 1

Came here when I couldn't get my 1 year old in to see his regular pediatrician on post & they recommended this specific urgent care as they knew Tricare would cover the visit. The location is very clean & the staff is very pleasant. I didn't love the fact that only 1 person was there ahead of us yet we were in the waiting room & the exam room for a total of 45min - 1hr. The doctor they sent in was very patient with my little guy & seemed comfortable with such a small patient. He ended up being prescribed meds for an infection. They called in the prescription to our preferred pharmacy & we went on our way without having to pay anything (on Tricare prime). Overall, we had a positive experience minus the ridiculously long wait time for only having 1 person ahead of us. It's nice to have a backup option that's not the ER when you cant be seen on post.
