"History At Home!"

We loved the housing at Ford Island and the location is second to none. You wake up each day looking at the USS Arizona Memorial or USS Missouri Battleship. We, unfortunately, were not there very long before we had to move, but I wish we could have stayed longer!

Pros Cons
  1. Location
  1. A bit touristy for those coming to see the memorial
  • Recommended: Yes
  • Appearance: gated, well manicured with grass cut, looks uniform, curbs, historic

"Military Housing in Hawaii with Gate"

Ford Island Housing is a very nice and has a gate, too.

Pros Cons
  1. Ex. Beautiful architecture
  1. Ex. Too noisy
  • Recommended: Yes
  • Recommendations: I don't recommend Ewa Beach, it has bigger homes but the commute can be 1 hour. I recommend Ford Island Housing, McGrew Housing, and Halsey Terrace.
  • Appearance: none
