"The gates should be guarded"
This house is much better than the one on Tank Destroyer where we previously lived but I don't always feel safe with nobody to guard the gates considering the 7-11right outside of the park is pretty sketchy. Anybody is allowed to just come on in. The Shopette is convenient to have nearby and I've had pretty good luck with the maintenance workers. I had a nice man named Desmond spray for bugs right before summer last year and I haven't seen one roach. I saw them all the time at my last place.Other than the trains, I find the neighborhood to be pretty quiet and peaceful.
The one real problem I have is with the floors. They look like the type you'd find in a hospital and I can never get them to look clean. Overall, a big improvement from our last place.

"Love living off post"
I personally love Pershing Park because the houses are bigger. I actually really like living off post because it's so much easier to come and go without going through the gate. I also don't worry about how visitors are going to get on base. We have MPs patrolling all the time so I actually like it. Plus we are closer to town.
"Big Kitchens"
We live in Pershing Park and like it a lot! All our neighbors are friendly and most people keep to themselves. The kitchens are big, nice big laundry room and big pantry. We also have a nice sized yard. We have enjoyed it!

"Train noise"
I have people who really like living here, but it's actually off post and there is a train that goes by that is very loud, especially in the morning time.
