"Lived There in 2009"

We lived in at Southland Station Apartments in our first year of marriage and military life. It was a great place to start off our lives together and a great starter "home." The staff there were always very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed going to the pool there and that there were two pools so that if one got too busy, families could use the other one. We did have some noisy neighbors above us that were very inconsiderate, but we also had some who moved in that were very quiet. We really liked the area it's in. You could walk to a Publix, a Sonic across the street, or a Walgreen down the road, but it was set back enough from the main road that it was quiet. The only issue that we had occasionally was not enough parking spaces. I know that was one thing a lot of other families complained about too while living there. It's been a long time since we lived there so I am not sure how it has changed, but there were so many pros for us (including living 5 minutes from the base) that I would definitely recommend it as a great place for military families!

Pros Cons
  1. Close to everything.
  2. TWO pools.
  1. Not enough parking.
