"Sleepy Golf Town"

West End has a more rural feel than much of Moore County. It is a quiet community, so if you want to feel 'removed' from the hustle and bustle, it would be a good match. It's a bit rural. There is a Food Lion and drug store, gas station and one fast food chains, but other than that, not much is available in the shopping area.
There are two or three big gated communities on the lake, with golf courses, that are very friendly and nicely maintained.

  • Recommendations: West End would be quite a distance from Fort Bragg, quite a long commute. I would not want to drive it twice a day.
