We Love West Springfield area. It's an easy commute to DC and the schools are incredible. It's about a 45 minute commute to DC from here but it's great for kids. If your husband is working in DC (Pentagon) there is less traffic than if you live on the Maryland side of D.C. (but there is still traffic just less)
