RIVERGATE (Alexandria, VA) located between Madison Street and the waters edge in 22314 zipcode is a great place to live. There are 2 parks (Oronoco Bay Park & Rivergate City Park) closeby. Located directly across from the new MGM Grande Casino at the National Harbor opening up in 2017. Great location, just 3 blocks away is Harris Teeter & Trader Joes, 1 block to sushi restaurant, coffee shops and fitness facilities. Walk to top chef restaurants, high end retail and boutique shopping and the well known King Street. Very walkable area and close to water for entertainment and it's directly beside Mount Vernon Trail, an 18 mile walk, running, biking trail that runs from the George Washington Estate at Mt Vernon to the Theodore Roosevelt Island near Rosslyn, VA. The Rivergate community sits at about mile 9 of this trail on the waters edge.
