"Working Family Neighborhood, Lots of kids"

My neighborhood is 5 min West of town in an area that used to be all farmland. It is made up of working families of mixed races. It is between two of the major roads to get into town. In 10 min, you can either drive to the Walmart HO, Walmart store, downtown Bentonville, or to the Pinnacle Mall. People are friendly if you are friendly to them, but you want to keep an eye on the neighborhood kids. Some of them can be trouble-makers when not supervised. Also, the city has a Pet law. Keep your dog leased or chained. However, others are not great about following it, so you'll want a yard with a fence if you have a dog. There are other neighborhoods nearby that have a higher social score than my immediate neighborhood. Bentonville really is a nice place to live and raise a family. Lots of activities for kids and adults. And a beautiful place!

  • Recommendations: The biggest issue in this area is not where you live, but how far you have to drive to get to work from where you live. So the first thing to do is find a job (if you are going to work). Then find a house near work. The less you have to drive, the better off you are. The road system in this area is not well developed and if you can avoid being stuck in rush hour very much, you'll be happier. Finding a house just takes looking in the paper, driving around, talking to people, a realtor would be a good idea. Even though the National housing market is bad, there are plenty of houses available here.
