"Nice Little Neighborhood for Couples and Young Families"

Austin Point is a nice place to live, especially as a young married couple, couple expecting their first, or with young children. The houses are close together (Tucson standard), but are fairly new construction (~2001) and tend to have open layouts (there are maybe 5 different types of houses). It's a great location to be in: 15 min to base (with traffic/lights), close to malls and shopping and lots of restaurants, 25 min to downtown/college district. Target, Ross, Bed Bath & Beyond, Pier 1, and many other stores are within a 5 min drive. You can walk to CVS for milk! Very convenient. Close to Civano, 15 min to Rita Ranch. We have enjoyed living here a lot and highly recommend it for renters/buyers.

Pros Cons
  1. Park w/ grass, play area, picnic area
  2. 5 min from Target, 3 supermarkets, restaurants, and shopping
  3. Walk to CVS and gas station. 15 min to DM/malls
  4. Great houses built around 2001. Low HOA fee.
  1. No spdbmps, sometimes cars speed on main rds
  2. Walmart supposedly going in nearby, although construction delayed/cnx?
  3. Houses are close together (Tucson standard)
  4. Element school OK, Middle/High Poor (Tucson standard)
