"Great Community- Great Commute for 32nd Street Base-not so much North Island or North County"

We lived on Marble Canyon Way in Eastlake Vistas III for 2 years. It was our first time home purchase. We have two toddlers, but at the time only had 1 infant. The neighborhood is very nice with sidewalks, walking trails, two community pools that look like country clubs, a gym, tennis courts, community events, and Mountainhawk park with a splash pad nearby. My husband commuted to North Island and the commute was not terrible, but not the best. It took him 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. We loved all of the amenities in the area and the reasonable prices for San Diego, but I got a job in North County(La Jolla) and the commute was too far for me. The area has a lot of young families and a huge Navy community so it is very easy to make friends and meet other military families. I would highly recommend the area to anyone stationed at 32nd street station.
