"Best in Beaufort Hands Down"
I stumbled upon Habersham when I came out to run the annual BTR 5K & Oyster Roast. I fell in love with the entire community, it's like a hidden gem in Beaufort. I met so many wonderful people while living there, whom I still keep in touch with. I Promise I will return one day!

"Not Renter Friendly"
Renters and owners seem to have very different experiences in this neighborhood. Our landlord decided to not renew our lease and forced us to move during my husbands deployment while I had a premature newborn at home. The property manager and landlord had no compassion for our situation. The property manager was very unprofessional communicating only with my husband via email after being told to communicate with me as he was in a remote location. If someone were to rent in this neighborhood, I would recommend renting from another military family and not working with Habersham Properties.

"Mayberry"
I have had a wonderful experiece living here. I love that kids are always out and about and i feel safe letting them go play outside, ride bikes, etc. There is a great community atmosphere and wonderful amenities we enjoy as a family such as parks, playgrounds, the pool, tennis courts, basketball courts etc. There are farmer's markets in the town square, restaurants, and several festivals. I have done two delpoyments here and feel very well looked after and taken care of. We have four children and two pets and would recommend this neighborhood to anyone. Not to mention how close we are to base. My husband actually can come home most days for lunch. Love this neighborhood and the support staff.

"Do not rent from Habersham Properties"
Rented from Habersham Properties and would not recommend. Office staff extremely disrespectful towards my family during my spouse's deployment. Neighborhood has more middle aged residents.

"Habersham Neighborhood, Beaufort, SC"
Beautiful family friendly neighborhood with parks, pool, dock and town center. 10 minutes from MCAS Beaufort and 15 from Parris Island or Naval Hospital Beaufort. Mostly full time residents with a sprinkle of rentals. About 15% active military, lots of retired military and the rest a mix of young families, professionals and other retirees - great mix of people.
Home prices can be high $200K to $500K. But a definite investment if you think you will come back. Rentals get snatched up quickly because they are so sought after. The only drawback to this neighborhood is the schools that are zoned for the kids. Many people homeschool, go to private school or petition to go outside of zone. There are ways to work it. Wonderful families live in this neighborhood and lots for kids to do - big neighborhood celebrations for Easter, 4th of July & Christmas as well as a weekly Farmer's Market and other seasonal celebrations. www.habershamsc.com
