My name is Alex Smades. I spent 6 years in the US Army as a 15W (UAV Operator). Of that 6 years 3 were spent at Schofield Barracks, HI and 3 were spent at Fort Hood, TX.

While I was at Fort Hood I bought a house, which i currently own and manage. The home buying process was miserable for me because my Realtor did not understand the struggle of a PCS in the Army! That is why I decided to end my time in service and get into real estate!

Now, I focus my time on ensuring any member of the military that is PCS'ing to Alaska does not have the same experience I had. I understand the process, time it takes, and stress of moving so often in the military. I especially know the stress of moving to a completely a new place and not knowing where you will live untill you get there in most cases!
