About Madonna Doykos
A native of Chicago, IL, Madonna graduated from John Carroll University (Cleveland, OH) in 2009 with a major in Economics. After graduation she began a year of volunteer work through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps working as a case worker at a homeless shelter in Sacramento, CA. She loved the work so much that upon completing her year of service she became a full time employee working with homeless women and children for 2 more years.
Madonna and her husband Damon, a Special Operations Marine Corps Officer were transferred to Wilmington in 2016. In all the places Madonna has lived Madonna says, "Wilmington felt like home. The people here are the most kind and friendly people I have ever met."
Recognizing that purchasing a home is one of the biggest financial decisions people make, Madonna chose a career in real estate because she knew with some guidance she could assist her clients through a stress-free home buying and selling process. Being part of the military and having moved many times Madonna is uniquely aware of how important a smooth transition is to settling into a new home and community.
When not working with clients, you will find Madonna enjoying yoga, running, walking the trails of Poplar Grove Plantation with her husband and two Bracco Italiano dogs, and boating on the intracoastal waterway.

"We moved from Hawaii to NC and can't say enough great things about the supportive help, knowledgable information and wise real estate counsel we received from Madonna Doykos. Military moves and PCS's are no small tasks, and home hunting long distance has so many challenges but Madonna made all that so easy. She literally searched the market for homes according to our preferences, and always had alternatives for us to consider too. She provided long distance support, in-home walk thru's and even Face Timed sessions inside homes so I didn't have to fly home to see them! She literally got on her hands and knees to show me molding details, or reached high to squelch concerns over ceiling flaws - you name it, she was our eyes and ears on the ground in the Wilmington, Topsail, Surf City areas! I have never had a realtor invest so much time, energy and thought into my home purchase. She also knows the area and remains a constant support to my day to day needs as I immerse myself in the community here.
