About Mandy Farmer
As a military spouse for the past 23 years, I’ve had the honor of traveling and seeing the world. Along with that, has come many moves, 9 to be exact! Over the years I’ve unintentionally become a great negotiator, relocator and home stager. Once we settled in Virginia Beach, twelve years ago, I knew I had found my forever home and my forever career-- Real Estate! I love all aspects of it; so much that it rarely feels like work!

I told her both what my husband and I liked and she somehow found houses that fit both of our "must haves". Now, if you're still with me, I will give you an abbreviated version of my experience with Mandy. My husband and I were moving to the Virginia Beach area from California in August 2017. We reached out to Mandy via a recommendation from several peers living in the area. She was timely in her response, a wealth of information/a reliable resource, and excited to start looking at homes (via FaceTime) right away.
Little did Mandy know that she would be tasked with the strangest real estate challenge of her career (and many of her colleagues' careers as well). Long story, short: we put an offer in on a house and after it was accepted, trouble quickly followed (from the sellers' side). One thing after another arose — an inexperienced realtor representing the sellers, IRS liens, several other additional liens and lawsuits, unconventional sellers, etc. (I could honestly go on with several more examples). Mandy handled each plot twist with grace, professionalism and more class than I knew was possible.
She also was an amazing listener and had a way of making everything better, which is quite the feat for someone who does not handle stress well. She was exactly what we needed and was able to get us the absolute BEST property in Chic's Beach, for the best deal possible. I truly believe that without her, we would not have this house. Mandy went above and beyond what any good realtor would do for their client — she truly owned her role of mama bear and did what was in the best interest of her clients until the very end.
We are forever in debt to Mandy and are now lucky to consider her our friend."
