Pillans Middle School is an awesome school with a caring faculty and staff. The teachers are approachable and helpful. The administrative staff is supportive and they make every effort to make sure students have a safe learning environment. They have updated the computer labs, the library and they have added new electives. It is a really great school!

Pillans isa GREAT school in comparison to many others. I currently have two children there and I haven't had any regrets. The staff is wonderful and Mr. Sanderson is the pick of the litter as far as principals go. He rules with a firm but fair hand and he really cares about each one of his students. He and his staff know practically every student by name with maybe the exception being the new incoming six graders. Pillans may not be a fancy school and their budget may suck to high heaven but I can truly say that they don't treat the students based on their budget. Say or think whatever you like but until you have made an honest effort to have a relationship with the faculty and staff of this school and stay on top of your child and his behavior, please hold all comments.

Pillians is a good middle school compared to all of the rest of these middle schools like mae eans middle school i have a upcoming 6th grade and i would never send any of my children to a school if it was bad so in my opinion i beleive that it is a good middle school

This school is trash!! Horrible personal work in this school, all these "gantsa" wannabes walking the halls. I have a child that go's there and all I here about is the excessive use of the N word, kids fighting all the time. My child keeps having to fend off bullies. Schools are supposed be places were children learn and are safe my child doesn't feel safe and hes not learning like he should be! Very frustrated parent!!

really, its an okay school, the principle is GREAT. the staff is AMAZING. Its just the STUDENTS. i believe the 6th grade is the only grade who seems like they have home training and a good environmental brain. they make this school a joy to come to. 7th graders are just a little to grown there always picking on the 6th graders. 8th graders don't give that much of a problem either its just they are READY to get out of middle school and get to high school. but by far its still a good school and the only thing i would recommend is get these children in check. And i see that Mr. Sanderson is trying his best

Pillans needs to emprove, The teachers throwes students out of the class and they walk around the school, The front desk personal is rude . The princable (Mr. Sanderson) needs to take control over his staff and students.
