I am a new employee of this school. After having worked here for 6 months, I would not hesitate to send my children to school at Holy Spirit. I love that our faith is ever-present, the administration and teachers are caring, the class projects I have seen are fun (a recent 4th grade "wax museum" asked students to research a historical figure, prepare a presentation, and dress up as that person to teach visitors about his/her life and important contributions), the school-wide assemblies relate important information necessary to all citizens (a recent presentation by the first Black person to integrate Alabama schools, a recycling presentation teaching students about the importance of reducing/reusing/recycling, an event centered on military veterans and the importance of their service to our nation)... Most importantly, the children are happy. This year the schools has placed importance on security, and it shows. I whole-heartedly recommend Holy Spirit Regional Catholic School.

Our daughters' overall experience at HSRCS was wonderful. Yes, there were bumps in the road as they navigated their way from 1st grade through 8th grade, but that taught them valuable lessons such as time management, identifying priorities, and socialization. They (and their parents) knew they were receiving a quality education from skilled and compassionate teachers that included the core classes as well as Religion to help them develop a growing relationship with Jesus. We would not have sent our precious children to any other school.

Amazing and loving teachers. My 7th and 8th grader especially love Mrs. Smith’s literature class.

We love Holy Spirt. Great curriculum, amazing staff. In the face of Covid every teacher has gone out of their way to make school happen. My kids are thriving at this school! HS is a gift.

We took my children out of public school and right into Holy Spirit 3 years ago. We have never looked back...just wish we would've done it sooner! Our children are being taught love, life and honesty. There are a lot of extra curriculars available and we are a Blue Ribbon School!

Holy Spirit is a wonderful enviroment where learning is fun and hands-on. The teachers are dedicated and warm. My child thrives here in all her endeavors!

Our family has been a part of Holy Spirit school for many years. There is a serious focus on creating responsible citizens of our children. By balancing the academic, athletic, and spiritual components, Holy Spirit does prepare children to excel in the real world. Additionally, there is a strong parental involvement in the student and school activities. We would not send our children any other place!

The quality of education is lacking at Holy Spirit. Many teachers are not up to date on current educational standards and teaching strategies. The administration is very unlikely to try and solve any issues that may occur with your child. There is a lot of unfair partiality, too.
