The demographics are incorrect; go to the school and see for yourself. My child was a student there 1.5 years ago and the staff was incompetent and the leadership poor. It's a place to go if your child can't go to public school or be homeschooled, but set your expectations very low so you're not disappointed. They will promise the moon and not deliver.

Great school, teachers, and small classrooms. My son was going to Public school, but we moved him to HAS because the school is more effective with providing different learning styles.

Bullying is more than acceptable - it’s completely ignored even if it hurts multiple students - many students had their needs ignored as long as a seat is filled - other students be damned

I started teaching there in the fall of 2018 - my husband and I poured ourselves and our money into HAS - however, I fell out of favor in the fall of 2019 - to say it became a hostile work environment would be an understatement - he is so childish that he refuses to send me my W2

Mr. Reynolds only cares about the number of students and not the needs of all the students- he has bullied students- pulling them and pushing them - THEY ARE KIDS!!!

The love and dedication from all of the staff is apparent as soon as you walk in the door
I’ve read the very negative reviews and they are completely without merit - blaming the school as a way to express whatever skewed view you hold is inappropriate

Homework is assigned online, parents are not included in the loop for assignments. Teachers say no homework, but when you finally get access to the online system there are a bunch off untouched homework assignments.

Mr Reynolds is a BULLY!!!! I have personally watched him yell at students and teachers. This was the day I decided my child would not be back. He threatens the students and talks to the patents like they are stupid. He prevents parents from interacting so they don't have an opportunity to focus three problem in the school.

RICHARD REYNOLDS was the biggest bully in the building. On multiple occasions I watched him yell and scream at students and teachers. He called my phone one day screaming abbot my child. I told him he would not address me like that. I went to the school and when he realized I wasn't a weak minded person and that I was highly educated he changed his whole tune.

I regret sending my child to this school. My child has suffered mentally and emotionally as a result of time there. My child is in counseling because of trauma from this school. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Homework is given to students that don't complete their assignments in class.

The most recent high school teacher was there for the last three weeks of school. My child couldn't even remember her name. The last teacher Mrs. Jones was wonderful, she kept the students engaged and she truly reached the students where they were. It was very clear Mrs. Jones loved working with her students. Mr England, the high school teacher prior to Mrs. Jones could only do so much his hands were tied by the principals dictatorship.

The principal bullies some students, staff and interns. I've witnessed him yelling at other parents and telling students (in a serious manner) to "shut up".

With reports of bullying, the principal claims the parent is crazy and "that type of thing doesn't happen at his school". Bullying isn't addressed.

The micromanaging principal is an excellent salesman who wants robots that sit at computers not students. The teachers are not allowed to teach, they are reprimanded for teaching.

Huntsville achievement has undergone a wonderful transition in the past two years. They have instituted an interactive computer curriculum to use in conjunction with their traditional teaching and projects. As parents, I feel we're definitely getting our money's worth and that this school is just what our child needs.
