Great, I have two enrolled. My youngest just finished Pre-K with Mrs.Lee and I can't say enough about her. He learned so much and loves school. During the pandemic she made videos and wrote letters. Just a fantastic teacher.

This really depends on the specific teacher. Generally speaking, most work is completed in class and finished up at home if needed which is generally pretty easy to complete quickly. Most homework revolves around studying for tests and the occasional project. Which allows for more quality family time in the evenings.

Every teacher that our children have had at Athens Bible School genuinely care about each student. Smaller class sizes really helps them have a one on one relationship with their students and a one on one teaching approach. This helps the teachers identify problem areas for their students and they are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure everyone understands and gets the additional help that they need. This greatly helped our family as one of our students is dyslexic. A teacher helped us determine why she was struggling and even worked afternoons with her several days a week and throughout the summer so that she could keep her grades up and keep up with the rest of the class (she is an A student now because of this additional help). They also have additional help with reading and math for those that need it.

This school builds amazing character in its students. I firmly believe this is due to the strong Christian values that are taught on a daily basis. Students attend chapel and bible classes everyday and are taught how to have compassion for others both inside the school and in the community. ABS expects its students to live by a moral and Christian code of conduct which teaches them how to be upstanding Christians. ABS is able to do this and still allow the kids to thrive in a fun and caring environment. One way they have succeeded. is that this year they started the school year by having each grade write and encouraging note to students in other grades. Because the school basis all learning on Christian values and principals, they instill character traits like integrity, compassion, and respect.

The leadership is great. Parents are generally well informed of school information. They are always willing to listen to problems and help resolve conflicts.

As I already mentioned, our daughter is dyslexic and one of the teachers help us realize her learning difficulties and then worked with her afternoons and through the summer for several years. This allowed her to get her grades up (all As) and keep up with the rest of the class. You will not see this level of commitment in most public schools.

The staff is open to discussing any concerns a parent may have with bullying. We have had no trouble with this at all. With that being said, sometimes this issue should be addressed at home with conversations about how to handle a bully peacefully prior to approaching the teacher or administrative staff. However, if that route does not work, the staff is more than willing to assist in any way they can. They have a no tolerance policy when it comes to the safety and well-being of its students in regards to bullying.

ABS has been a phenomenal blessing to our family. We moved to Athens specifically so our children could attend ABS. I would, and do, recommend ABS to everyone. They employ the most caring and compassionate teachers that you could find. They take time to pray for classmates, faculty, and their families whenever there is a need. I have had the pleasure of seeing them stop lessons and pray every hour on the hour on certain days for a particular student who was battling cancer. I don't think you could find this level of compassion at any other school. No school is perfect but ABS comes as close as it gets.

I graduated from Athens Bible School a number of years ago and have been in the process of sending my three children there. I am thrilled with the attention to detail that Athens Bible School provides. Every single employee knows my children's name and truly does love and care for them. The academic credentials are unparalleled for a high school. The ability to earn some college credit before leaving high school has better prepared them for higher education. When you combine all of that with the fact that they are taught in an environment where God is at the center of everything, is a wonderful combination that can not be beat. Athens Bible School is currently building a new campus and will move onto it in a few months. This school truly has great things ahead.

We have two girls at ABS now. Sending them to ABS has been a great blessing to us. At ABS they receive the spiritual training that isn't available anywhere else in North Alabama. They start each day with Chapel worshiping God. Bible Class each day provide instruction and teach them God's word. The teachers truly care about their souls and provide exceptional examples. My girls love ABS and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. This year ABS is building a new facility so we are looking forward to that!

We are very glad we chose to send our children to a Christian school where prayer, citizenship, and personal responsibility are weaved into every school day. Coaches are excellent role models and mentors. Our children love their teachers, sponsors, and coaches!

Our children learn in different ways and teachers used various methods to present the subject material.

The faculty and staff are highly involved with the students in and out of class. Positive reinforcement and corrective discipline is used to encourage acceptable behavior.

We sent both our children to ABS from kindergarten through 12th. Very pleased with the school. We enjoyed the family atmosphere. Our children were not particularly athletic but that did not affect their relations with other students. Both went to college (one public, one private) and were well prepared. Never regretted our decision and our kids had good friends through school and have remained close friends with many after graduation.
