This is a more critical review of Apple Glen Elementary based on my familys experience.
First and foremost, its important to acknowledge the incredible teachers and the majority of the staff at Apple Glen. They are phenomenal educators, dedicated to nurturing and inspiring their students. Even the less tenured teachers are clearly striving to do right by their students, working diligently to grow into their roles. However, their efforts are often undercut by a concerning lack of integrity and accountability from the principal.
Leadership sets the tone for any school, and unfortunately, the principal at Apple Glen has consistently demonstrated an unwillingness to take responsibility or act with transparency. Rather than supporting staff and addressing issues in a constructive manner, challenges are often met with deflection and avoidance. This not only stifles teacher growth but also diminishes the trust and confidence that parents should be able to have in school leadership.
When concerns are brought forward by families, they are frequently dismissed or downplayed. Honest conversations are met with defensiveness rather than a willingness to listen and engage in meaningful dialogue. This disregard for accountability sends a damaging message to both students and staff that genuine concerns are not worth addressing and that those in positions of authority are beyond reproach.
The dedicated educators at Apple Glen deserve better. They work tirelessly to create positive learning environments despite the lack of support from their leadership. Without principled and transparent leadership, even the most passionate teachers are left without the necessary resources and guidance to thrive.
It is my hope that the district takes a hard look at the leadership issues at Apple Glen. Positive change is only possible when integrity and accountability are held as non-negotiable values. Until then, families should be aware of the challenges they may face when navigating concerns at this school.
Apple Glen has the potential to be an outstanding institution, but it will take responsible and courageous leadership to get there.

Overall this is an amazing school. I live the staff here and the teachers are amazing as well my child has learned so much. And everyone here are very patient with all the kids and very understanding. They are also very helpful.

Teachers and Staff at Apple Glen are the best! They truly love what they do and love teaching! Yes, there are newer schools out there, but Apple Glen is tried and true. It has been a top performing school for almost two decades. Thanks to the great Teachers, Staff, and PTO, Apple Glen has stood the test of time!

WE love Apple Glen! My kindergartener loves school and learning! His teacher is so genuine and dedicated to meeting the needs of all of her students. The staff is so supportive of each other. They set high expectations for themselves and their students. We are so blessed to be at Apple Glen!

I have 3 children that have attended Apple Glen. I feel so blessed that they've had such a great place for learning and making friends. I wouldn't want them anywhere else!

Apple Glen is an awesome school! Two of my children went to Apple Glen, K-4, and I currently have a child at Apple Glen. It is a great school! School staff are always friendly and helpful and truly care about every student. Every effort is made to help each child reach their full potential. I highly recommend this school.

At Apple Glen, teachers and staff are committed to helping kids learn and administrators are very supportive and helpful. A big plus is that parents are encouraged to get involved and to be part of their child s learning experience. Apple Glen has high expectations and staff work hard to promote student achievement.

Apple Glen is a wonderful school with a dedicated and engaging staff. I initially had concerns about Arkansas schools in general prior to moving to NWA, but any and all of those concerns are gone. The Bentonville School District is truly one of the best in the state! Apple Glen also has one of the BEST PTO's I've ever seen. Creative and supportive of their school!

Apple Glen is an amazing school full of loving, energetic, and dependable staff. We have been so lucky that both of our kids have attended Apple Glen since kindergarten. With each teacher my kids have had the love for learning and knowledge grow within them.
