This school is the reason why I got my GED early, about 3 years ago now. The reason? The principal thought it necessary to give me a month long ISS for possibly the dumbest reason known to man. I didn’t attend my “Eagle periods” because I thought it very unnecessary and a waste of my time. They didn’t allow us to finish work from other classes, and also forbade doing any homework. The whole point was to just listen to your teachers lecture you about quite literally nothing. I had skipped Eagle period about 5 times and by the way this wasn’t even a main course class, therefore attendance shouldn’t have been required. But anyways the principal thought it was very serious and punished me harshly for it. As soon as I got ISS however, I walked out the school door and never came back and got my GED that following week and ever since then my life had gotten so much better. I’m now a business owner for a theater and I’m making way more than the principal is now. So thank you for teaching me how to be resourceful and make my life more successful than yours! I forgot his name and I don’t think that principal works there anymore but honestly good riddance.

I used to go here about two years ago and ever since they got the new principal everything has gone downhill. The principal tries to make so many changes and new rules that are either way too strict or just plain stupid. For example, if you're literally 10 seconds late to your first hour class the principal told the teachers that the student is not allowed to stay in that class and they would end up sending them to the cafeteria for the entire period. How is a student supposed to learn if they aren't even allowed to be in class for being 10 seconds late to class? I was always on time but this would happen to a lot of students while I was in class. They would end up getting so far behind because of this rule that they would end up falling the class. That's just one example of a rule that was implemented into the system. They bully special kids that can't defend themselves. They would always yell at them and be extremely aggressive to them. This school is one of, if not, the worst in Rogers.

My older son went here & now my 2nd son is going to Heritage, for the most part, I think it's a good school. No school is perfect but there are a lot of opportunities here & the kids seem respectful. I haven't noticed that "better than" felling here.

They don't really care about the students it looks like. They yell at the students like their nothing to them.

I couldn't have asked for better staff to be involved with my autistic son's IEP team. The VP, the counselor, the speech path, and my absolute favorite, his resource teacher, have all worked hard with me, for him. All making sure my son learns and thrives in this school. He's graduating this year, and I couldn't be any prouder of the man he's become, and the progress he's made, thanks to the help of these kind people!

If you have a student with disabilities please think twice before sending your child to this school. I find that they would rather work with policy rather than work with the students needs. A childs needs will change as they grow and the changes need to be addressed whether it be they neeed more assistance or less assistance. I found this school to be lacking when it comes to adjusting to a childs needs. They leave these children to fend for themselves with the other students who can be bullies. When a child just can't adjust to being left to fend for themselves they weren't willing to help. They told my child just learn to deal with it which is not what you tell any child who comes to you for help. My child has issues that include a sensitivity to too many people and when I asked for help they refused to make any changes for her. They also refused to let me come to the school so I could observe for one day in her classroom so I could request better changes for her. I am looking into a school who is more willing to work for the student rather than policy. Please think twice before sending your student here.

For the students and band members who performed for my great aunt in granting her a last wish of seeing her grandson play with his band, I thank you. What a wonderful thing to see. Our families will be talking about this for the rest of our lives.
