One word, politics. The superintendent gets paid way way too much & some teachers do with very little. The school counsel is a joke. There are worse schools but there are alot better ones.

I am a student of 2015, we recently gained about 150 freshman after losing only 60 or so seniors. We also got a new principle and a lot of new teachers. They installed cameras with audio so they can hear every little thing your child says about anything in there private lives. No respect for the human right of privacy. Teachers also gossip about students, and was told that by a teacher. There have been many new rules. One said that we can no longer eat in the bottom hall, leaving us with the lobby, outside, and cafeteria for about 700 of us. In one lunch period. I eat in the lobby, today, due to this new rule, I was trying to eat my lunch with people standing around me, people yelling, and not more then a foot from me. Very uncomfortable. Most teachers have awful attitudes and when a student makes a complaint, they dont care at all. Treating us like a heard of cattle. They also refuse to fire teachers that have been complained on repeatedly. I beg you not to put your child through this, pick another school district. The biggest lie they tell you is that we are respected like adults, more like treated like we are 5. I hope you listen to me. There are a number of stupid rules, one is that if you even walk into the building with a hat in your hand, they will take it. You dont even have to be wearing it. hey, Huntsville!!! Guess what?? Its not 1880 anymore!! Its no longer disrespectful to wear a hat. Thats my review.

Installed cameras, audio, feels like someone is listening to everything you say. No respect for privacy, if your trying to talk about your private life to a friend, someone is listening. How would you feel if someone put cameras in your house where you talk to friends about your private life? Thats what it feels like considering thats the place where we talk to our friends about our private lives
