My kindergartener started out the year not recognizing her letters or numbers (even after completing two years of preschool), only after 5 months into the school year she was reading and doing real math problems on her own. Her teacher took the time to bring her out of her shell and made her shine, I cannot thank Mrs Isabell enough.
My preschooler started out the school year shy and reserved, her teacher Mrs Duirgin in just months helped her open up and learn a tremendous amount. She even received student of the month because of all she has learned and continues to learn.
We love all of teachers both of my girls have had at All Saints the last two years.

Learning a Christian based curriculum you are bound to have children developing strong characters. Integrity, compassion, respect are fundamentals of the students learning expectations at All Saints Catholic School. Both of my girls have learned so much about integrity and respect in a very compassionate manner.

The leadership is exceptional there. They have the Parterns in Education which is run by the parents. They make sure the children have fun events to attend e.g. fall festival, movie nights.
The Principal Ms Rosado is amazing, she goes above and beyond for her students e.g. knows them all by name (even siblings), walks them in with her umbrella when it’s raining and she won’t tell you but she often buys the whole school pizza out of pocket. She loves each and every student like her own.

Both of my girls were shy and reserved but their teachers have all been ever patient with them. For example when my preschooler started out the school year she had a hard time being there alone, but her teacher made it possible to have her big sister come and visit her to help her feel safe. Because of all the effort made by the teachers both of my girls have excelled academically. Love and compassion is a must to help children thrive and all the teachers at All Saints have that down.

We absolutely love All Saints Catholic School, they have become a part of our family. Anyone looking for a great school with excellent teachers and curriculum this is it for sure, we aren’t even Catholic but this school has really changed my view on parochial schools. We feel that our children are in a safe loving environment where they are thriving academically as well as emotionally.

I love the teachers and the new principal at All Saints. They truly care about my child and are working to improve the school. The family atmosphere is wonderful.

This is my child's second year attending All Saints. The teachers are very hands on in making sure each child is progressing. Sister Carol has done a fantastic job since she was hired on as Principal. The curriculum is challenging and encourages them to succeed. They encourage parents to volunteer. My son loves when I am able to come and volunteer with his class - I never feel this is a burden, it brings joy to both of us. The school hosts many dinners and breakfasts that encourage the parents, students, and teachers to come together as a family outside of class. I am very happy with this school!

I find it interesting that the previous reviewer purporting to be experienced or connected with the school in some manner uses the phrase "That's not very Christian-like is it?" for a catholic School. Obviously a troll.... If this individual were actually connected with the school they would not use such terminology.

All Saints Catholic School is a small thriving private school. It offers a sound curriculum. All are welcome to attend this school set in the foothills of the mtns. It provides and safe environment. The security system protects all the faculty and students. Mass is once a week and the children's choir sounds wonderful. Go check it out!!

My son is about to start his 4th year at All Saints and we couldn't be more pleased with the school and over all learning experience. My son has been challenged and has been held to a higher expectations which has resulted in him achieving a lot of goals and even testing above grade level in several subjects. As a mom I am confident that my son is in a safe, encouraging learning environment. Not to mention all the FUN he has while at school. Originally I only planned to send my son to ASCS for pre-k but we have been so thrilled with this outstanding school we don't plan to leave. There aren't enough positive things I can say about All Saints.

It has been a pleasure to be an employee at All Saints for the last 3 years. I see so much happiness and positivity from the staff and students. My favorite thing about All Saints is every morning is begun with a prayer and the Pledge. It is such a nice way to start your day and puts everyone on track for success!

I wanted to inform people that the negative comments I saw posted from earlier, I believe to be from a troll. First of all, the principal works very hard to ensure that every student receives tuition assistance. If anyone paid "thousands of dollars", they were not paying attention to the numerous letters sent by the school to parents on how to obtain financial help. As for curriculum, this school offers Spanish, Computer, Arts, Music, PE, plus all the academic subjects that public schools offer. Class sizes are small, so each student gets extra attention from the teachers. My observation is that the students here are better behaved and have a much better attitude than public school students (our daughter attended public school before coming to ASCS). I strongly recommend All Saints Catholic School for any student in the Sierra Vista area.

I really like All Saints Catholic School for my child. Her reading has improved, her math is better, her science is better, she is happier than when she attended public school, she is in school choir, and all around is doing very well at this school. She has learned a lot and also loves all the teachers and the principal and the pastor. She has also gotten her religious education too and her first communion, an unforgettable moment for her. This is a very good school.

As a parent of two children at the school, I have been very pleased. Certainly, no environment is perfect for all families. However, I believe that the up-to-date curriculum, conscientious leadership, and involved parents make this school a great fit for my family.

I have read through all the posts, good and bad. I will say from my experience at the school, I have been very pleased with the education that my child has received! we have been there since 2009-2010 school year. My child has done nothing but improve each year. I tested my child on my own this year to see what grade level she is able to work at and to my surprise she actually tested out a entire year ahead of her current grade level. There are alway glitches when a new principal or teacher comes in at any school. ASCS is a accredited school that provides a great education to all students and it is a bonus that they have religion too. this saves parents a lot of time taking their kids to CCD to prepare for sacraments. Yes, there are uniforms, but at least you know what your child is going to be wearing to school each day. Yes, there is tuition, but there is assistance available to everyone! if you are wanting a quality education that your child is not just getting lost in the shuffle, then this is the school for you!

As a parent I am very please with this school. The principal is caring and does not put up with bullying. The teachers take time out of their day to contact parents with concerns and parents are able to contact them too. My child loves the one on one she gets through the Title 1 program and has gone from a 57% to a 94% in reading this school year! I highly recommend All Saints Catholic School for children, even if you are not catholic!

This school is one of the best in this city. The classes are small so you a lot of attention from the teachers if they think you need help in in subject. The negative comments are lies. We have a lot of school activities a the principal Is very active in all of them. the teachers are very patent with the students. I recommend this school for your child.

All I have to say for all the negative ratings of this school must have been asked to leave, because my child is doing phenomenal work at ASCS! My child's first 4 years were in a public school and my child was average to low in most of the classes. Now my child is on the Honor Role and making all A's and B's. My child is getting a wonderful education in academics and religion. We come from out of state and the state we came from has MUCH higher ratings than any public school in AZ. And, It is very doable to teach two grades in one class room. It's done a lot in public schools around the country, including the school my child came from and public schools usually have 25 to 40 students in those schools. So, if any of these public schools here are actually saying that ASCS is behind, I totally disagree. My child is doing terrific thing and loves it! The teachers are wonderful and caring people, the principal loves these kids and really works with them. AND, not only that, if you can't afford it, the school has something called CTS monies. They can help out with tuition in so many ways. I rate this the #1 school in Sierra Vista, AZ!

All Saints Catholic School is an outstanding school. They take national tests and scored above the national average in Language Arts-great writers and readers. Teachers care about their students. Small class sizes; double grades teach study skills.

My son has attended this school from Pre-K - 7th grade. Where they do seem to do good in the younger grades, from 2nd grade up they use combined grade levels with 1 teacher teaches 2 grade levels. This is because they have low enrollment and cannot afford to hire a grade teacher for only a hand-full of students in a single grade. It is at this point that the students suffer. A single teacher cannot physically teach 2 full-curriculum grade levels in 1 day. The science program is non-existent. I just recently transferred my 7th grader into JCMS and for Math they told me the concepts he learned was for 6th grade not 7th. The Principal tends to be stressed and not good dealing with children or the overall atmosphere at this school. She is NOT a leader. Bottom-line you do not get quality education for what you pay for. Would not recommend sending your child here.

This is my daughter's third year at All Saints, and I am beyond impressed. My daughters kindergarten teacher was amazing, creative and dynamic; caring and structured. I could not have asked for more. This year, in first grade, the standards that my daughter is being held to are fantastic. My daughter is writing 4-6 sentence paragraphs, can add and subtract quickly, and is reading far above grade level. There has been high teacher turnover at the school, but, considering that this is a military town and the school was in a period of leadership transition, that is to be expected. I think that there have been parents who have pushed for one type of curriculum or another, and the principal took a strong stance that parents should not dictate curriculum. The curriculum does have religious teaching, but that is not the predominant curriculum. If I were a parent looking at the school, I would not consider extremely negative or extremely positive posts. Typically, someone who has exclusively negative or positive things to say has an emotional reason for doing so. Seek out balanced reviews. The school is filled with committed parents who are actively involved.

I do not believe that the individual who has commented that they were behind academically when he/she left ASCS is an actual former student or parent of a student. The students who I had contact with in the upper grades who this individual purports to be were neither behind academically, nor did any depart the school for academic reasons. I assume that this school is suffering attacks from a troll who is either motivated by anti-Catholic bigotry or pro public school sentiment.

All I will talk is about the school and not anything/anyone else. My daughter loves this small classroom environment. You can tell that the teachers care for each child in the school. I love that the principal will stand at the front gate every morning to say hi to every student and parent. (how she remembers everyones names it's incredible)

I would only recommend this school if your child wants to become a nun or priest. Don't expect your child to understand simple math equations. And science.... they don't know what that is.

Excellent School as seen that it just received an A rating from the Accreditation Agency-WCEA. Their accreditation term was renewed for 6 years-the maximum!!! Caring teachers and principal. Students are well behaved. National tests show they are above grade level. Yeah for All Saints Catholic School.

Love this school. My daughter has attended for 2 years and will be starting 3rd year next week.She is already way above grade level in reading and Math. In fact, because they are an accredited school that takes national tests (not state Aims test), u can easily find proof and data that shows all grades on average are scoring 1-2 grade levels above in Reading. If u have any concerns about the academics, u can ask the gal in the front office for a copy of last year's accreditation report. This was written by members of an unbiased team of teachers/administration from different schools across AZ and US. In appendix of this report u can also track the school's national testing average and see for yourself how they rate nationally. You can probably also call the dept. of education for this info.Overall, teachers and staff seem pleasant. Love the small class sizes and individual attention the students get. Bullying by students and parents is NOT tolerated by the school and students and families who can not abide by the bullying/harrassment policy or code of ethics are asked to find their happiness elsewhere. This practice makes for a great learning environment.

I no longer attend this school, I was academically behind when I left this school, and attended public school. In my opinion, the teachers, principal, and other staff were uncaring, bias, unprofessional, and detrimental to the learning environment. I am now in the public school system where I will continue my education in a supportive environment.

No matter how much some of the others that have given this place 5 stars, avoid it, save your money, and your child, they will be far behind a public school when they are done at this school. I learned the hard way, please don't be fooled like I was, they are only interested in money, the student is irrelevant.

Since the moderator felt it necessary to remove my previous comment, I will try again, but this one will probably be removed also. The person that rated this school a five must be joking, now that school is over, I am going to say what I feel is right. I wasted thousands of dollars in tuition for my child to go to this school, only to discover to late, that I could have gotten a better education free, at a public school. My child is behind, based on the placement test that was given a few days ago. Avoid this school, that's all I dare say, for fear of having this post removed also.

Save yourself much time and heartache, take your child to a public school rather than go to this school. Things are not what they seem, in spite of what the previous comment said, which I believe is from someone that works at the school. My kids spent months n(at a public school!) catching up after they were taken out of this school, and I had to also send them to summer school. The previous principal was 1000% better than the current one, this school has done nothing but go down hill, and if they had 75 students, I would be shocked. Why pay tuition to not even get what is available at no cost at a public school.

I agree with the previous post, teacher turnover is very bad at this school, and it has caused grades to plummet, frustration, anxiety, and fear. I had enough, and removed my child before she was so far behind, she would never catch up. This school has lost many students over the last few years, and they are still leaving. If this school even has 80 students, I would be very, very surprised.

Avoid this school, teacher turnover is horrible, and has affected the morale of the few remaining students. I could go on about many other things that have happened, but why bother, the bottom line is, in my opinion, there are much better schools in this city that are no cost to the parents.

The previous poster must work at the school, as this is no way reality. If you want to save your child a lot of grief, heartache, etc., try another school. The principal of this school, has gotten rid of every single teacher that was at the school when she came, and some of these teachers were excellent. When the current principal came to the school, two of the teachers were male, and had been at the school for many years, now they are both gone, and there are no male teachers at this school. Another bad sign is the constant teacher turnover, for instance, the 7th and 8th grade class, is on it's third teacher in less than a year and a half, what is going on here? Enrollment is declining, and more will probably leave after Christmas, something is not quite right at this school. The previous principal was a much better principal, extremely fair and compassionate, and talked to you, instead of down to you, and if you happened to disagree with him, he would still look at your point of view, instead of acting like a petulant child, taking their marbles and going home. I have lived here for 40 years, this is the worst school I have ever encountered, to bad one person did all this damage.

We have been at this school for three years now after transferring from a SV public school. What I can tell you is we have awesome teachers, staff and Sr. Carol rocks. We came in a grade level behind after public school and made up two grade levels with the caring and devotions of the teachers at ASCS. Sr. Carol hugs my daughter every day and cares personally for her happiness as for every students there. The parents are involved and the kids are well behaved. If your child does not succeed with the small class size and one on one interactions then you as a parent must not be involved at all at home. I work full time as does my husband and I know my money spent is worth every dollar guaranteeing my daughter can qualify for college in a state that puts education last!

I wonder if they still have one teacher for every two grades (i.e. single teacher for 1st and 2nd, etc...). This situation saved $, but made for a miserable school year!! My suggestion .... If you can get a better public education for free - Why would you pay tuition for less?

The new principal is excellent and is moving the school in the right direction. Atmosphere is positive, organized, and directed. The parish and pastor are now fully supportive. Most teachers are very good, but they need to fill a couple of key positions with stable higher performing teachers. My daughter is happy, appropropriately challenged by the work, and is thriving. It is wonderful to have a solid catholic school in our community.

I don't know if the previous review wasfrom an actual parent. The reason why the school attendance dropped was because of the old principal. Sister Carol treats everyone equally and this is by far the best school I have seen in Sierra Vista. All schools have fund raisers. The children in the school are very well mannered and the parent involvement is amazing. If you want the best education in a nurturing environment that helps children to grow and develop to the best of their potential, this is the school to be at.

All Saints Catholic School has grades Preschool-8th grade. It is a great, family atmosphere school. The teachers are very enthusiastic and interact well with the students and with the parents. The school is Catholic and one knows it upon entering the school grounds. There is tuition assistance available so all students of any economic background are able to attend.

With the exodus of the principal,secretary and several outstanding teachers, the quality and the family-like feeling of the school is gone. The enrollment of children is way down, I don't know how the school will be able to afford the staff. Hopefully, the school can rebound,because it is the only Catholic school in town.

ALthough there have been many changes at ASCS, they are all for the better. My son has attended since Kindergarden and was doing 4th grade work for most of 3rd grade. There are some fantastic teachers there now and a new principal who is a nun. If a Christian environment, family atmosphere and better-than-public academics is for you, check it out. There is tuition assistance for nearly everyone.

I know this school is great. The old principal left near the end of the school year in 2011. The Tucson Diosese hired a Nun as the new principal, Sister Carol. She has been a principal at Catholic Schools in the past and has been teaching for many years, most recently in Hawaii. Even before the change in administration our daughter improved in her grades compared to being in public school. The classes are small and she gets individual attention.

All Saints Catholic School is wonderful. The tuition assistance is great. More than 75% of the student body receives tuition assistance. Parents are encouraged to participate in the fund raising events and to provide suggestions.

All Saints Catholic School has suffered quite a bit throughout the past three years. With the departure of the principal and the administrative assistant brighter days are here. The mood of the school has already improved and the new principal, a Catholic sister from Hawaii with tons of experience, will soon be in place. Now is the time for new students to come in and for students who left during the past three years to return.

Unfortunately, with the new principal came a lack of good leadership and unfair treatment of some very good teachers. It's a shame! My kids went there for years. It was a strong, positive environment until a couple years ago. Many lovely children and families have chose to leave due to the new principal. Very unprofessional administration. For those who believe everything is ok, look very carefully please!.
