School overall was a bad experience I was a former student there a few years back (Im now in college) only a few good teachers and usually youd have to be look just to get them most teachers were very rude, kids would be getting arrested weekly, a lot of gangs, bullying was not handled well at all, from what subs have told me its gotten worse dont go to this school

This school is irresponsible and nonchalant. Multiple bullies are seen around campus, judging people based on their personalities, relationships, and interests. I have reported several of these bullies through the schools official bullying report form on their licensed website, but Ive never seen or heard of any action taken by the staff. There have also been no noticeable changes in the bullies behavior.
Many physical fights, verbal abuse, and offensively sexual jokes occur on campus every year, and I fear I might be the next victim due to the bullying Ive already experienced for simply being who I want to be. My peers and I have also encountered teachers (mostly ones I dont have personally) being mean, abusive, or showing favoritismwhile others are clearly overworked and disrespected by careless students.
The only real positives are the genuinely kind teachers on campus and the wide variety of student activities available.

This school was a huge selling point when we bought our home. We quickly realized how wrong we were. Not only is there a large amount of peer bullying but my children felt that they were being bullied by the administration. From physical fights to cyber harassment, there was very little done to protect my children from what was going on. I've known 2 other parents that have pulled their children from the school for the same reason. The art teacher is a "fun" teacher but the moment the student doesn't play into her pity party, she is unkind. My children went from A's to C's and D's in a short time frame. I have never had a difficult time with administration - this was a hard transition for an already very pivotal time in the kids' lives.

If you are friends with the principal you will be fine, but beyond that everyone is left on their own. All the great teachers left, and Pioneer has lost what made it great. I dont know if its the district or site admin to blame but its a shame.

The school is ran like a prison. Was definitely different 10 years ago. Never wanted our son to go there, but we had no choice. Had I known how things go there, I wouldve tried harder to get him into a different school district.

This school has gone down hill so fast. Administration favors their friends kids and overlooks all the real, serious issues like vaping in the bathrooms and bullying. Education is not taken serious for kids on 504's and IEP. There is no support for them. This school used to be good, no longer the case. Send your kid somewhere else if you can. Good luck with communicating with the office, rude.

Pioneer Middle School isn't a good environment for children. The office strictly does not care nor do they acknowledge students' needs. Students at Pioneer Middle tend to have experienced this at some point, their issue they may have either does not get resolved or is overlooked. Students need the extra support. Staff also does not do their job correctly, allowing things to happen even when they are against school rules. Students should not feel pressured into doing activities they do not want to do that aren't school based. Stability is becoming a more difficult thing for children to find, so teachers and staff should be more aware and have knowledge of the students' health.

Favorites! The administration favored students and did not enforce the same rules as they did to the rest of the crowd.

Super unorganized! I was always down at the office for something. If it's not one this it was the other. My child was bullied all 3 years she was there at the middle school! The staff knew about it and it got so bad to where she didn't want to go to school anymore!! The school knew all the names of the girls that where bullying and never did anything to try to stop it. My child also suffered from a learning disability and they refused to an e her tested so she failed 8th grade! They did nothing to work with me to help her get her grades up! They also tried to charge us for a laptop that wasn't broke at all. This school is horrible. The office lady at the front desk is also very rude!
