I’m not a fan at this school, my daughter isn’t really learning much. They give out low leveled work and teach them like the kids are still in kindergarten. I should have listened to other parents who took their child here and or took them out of this school.

They give Childish homework, not the level they should be giving the students. For example, my daughter is in 1st grade and they have preschool/kindergarten work. I’ve hear this a lot by previous parents

We came from a private school where memorization and worksheets were the norm. We are so thankful that we made the transition to UPS! Now my kids get music, art, creative writing, awesome book reports that involve their imagination, poetry, Spanish, science lab, a large playground with tons of fun things to do, hot lunch is available daily; I was worried at first about going from private to public, but now I can see that the best choice was UPS. We are completely happy with the school and the friendly administration. The students are also tested to see what level they are working with; my son was quickly finishing work, so the teacher promptly found more work for him to do that was at a higher level that he needed. So students are not left bored in class!

This school is OK. The office staff is awesome and hard working, the vice principal and principal are not very friendly or personable. I've never seen them once greet the kids at the gate in the mornings. The teachers are OK and they seem to have a good plan for children who are falling behind but there is no plan for children who need a challenge. My son is bored and unchallenged, we are switching schools next year to a school where they can address the needs of all children.

It is our first year at this school and the curriculum is diverse and the teaching techniques are wonderful. My son has learned a lot about different subjects and has grown along with his peers. Overall great school.
