Narbonne is one of the worst schools in LA. It's full of gangs, trash , not safe for the students. The staff and the teachers don't care .

Honestly, this school has changed my life completely. There is always an adult to talk to in confidence and they always try to do the best for your education. Some teachers are strict but they do it so that we can learn education. I give it a 10/10. I learned English ( basic) in less than two years I love the emotional support they give us all, some students are disrespectful but it is part of adolescence or problems or traumas but for me my experience was the best since I arrived in the United States I went to that school I have tried several schools but Nathaniel Narbonne high school helped me a lot....I love them

I had a really good time in this school, however it is not suitable for people who are actually trying to academically succeed. If you enjoy having fun and you have no plans in terms of education, this would be the best school suited for that type of person.

I sent my son here and this school is very good theres rarely any fights the teachers are very respectful I was reading some of these reviews and I can tell you they are very over exaggerated narbonne is a good school and safe. Staff is very nice and so are the teachers and the students are very calm and welcoming this is a good school.

Really great highschool for my daughter went here for her junior year and senior year and she loved it. She felt very comfortable being that many of those kids come from here same background (Hispanic) and that the teachers were nice to her and how narbonne has changed over the years is amazing. It has not too good for a reputation in the past but I can assure you that it is not bad school most reviews are over exaggerated and Im planning on sending my son for his freshman year next year.

I went here 20 years ago so my information is out of date but it was so enriching. A beautiful, diverse school with a great Magnet and Honors and AP program and devoted teachers. I loved it.

To many fights. Knifes on campus. This school needs a metal detector. The safety of students seems compromised. Kids getting jumped after school

Some of the teachers dont even do their job correctly and dont view how were are supposed to do assignments and just decide to throw out handouts that we werent taught about.

I went to this high school for 2 years and on the first day of school I was told I was not welcomed. Seeing as I was part of the 4% whites they threw the "white privilege" card at me frequently. I never got to make any friends except for one Spanish teacher. I had a BIG problem with Mr. Waller, a history teacher. He would bash his students and make very racist remarks as well. He did not let anyone know their grades or pass back assignments. I have made complaints to 2 staff members (including the principle) but nothing was done. The staff on campus were rude and not helpful AT ALL. As for the students I didn't talk to many BUT some did drugs in the classroom which was extremely strange since the teacher clearly didn't care.

Narbonne is a great school. Although some teachers aren't as motivating most teachers are. They offer the things we need to succeed but many students don't take advantage of it. The staff is very helpful and will answer any questions you have. It is a great school, everything will go great as long as you do everything you're supposed to do.

They have unmotivated students, plus inadequately with bathroom. I regret going to this school. Beware of this school and go to Torrance or PV High.

Narbonne is great my oldest sister just graduated there and I'm going into my sophomore year it's so great I totally recommend this school for parents because it prepares for college and the teachers are great help.

Bad school with bad teachers with bad students. I discourage others from sending their children to their school. There are a lot better choices out there. I deeply regret attending this school.

My son will be entering the 9th grade at Narbonne. He is coming from a small middle school and did not do well in school at...and I had my doubts about sending him to Narbonne because it is such a large school..I have heard both good and bad things about the teachers and students. I do not know how to rate it yet.
