This school is lowkey the worst one I've been too, and I've only been to elementary school and here. I have not enjoyed my three years at this middle school because it is frankly like a prison. Counselors don't do anything when a student approaches them with an issue and teachers (especially a certain one) give out too much homework and not enough time to do it. Please, any future parents and students, heed my review as a current student and do not attend his school unless you want to end up with a few mental issues while graduating. The people/students here are also rude and are prone to bullying others students. Its safe to say that I hate this school.

My child attended in 2021 and I quickly needed to pull her out of that school. Teachers were unhappy, students were fighting, lack of support for bullying. the school grounds were dirty and unkept. The school itself looked like a prison.
My child had little to no homework except in math class, which she enjoyed, because the teacher was engaging and organized! The PE teachers and lessons were a joke.
The administration were too relaxed with discipline issues. For instance, a child was physically assaulted and 2 days later that student was back in the same class, bragging about what they did!
LAUSD needs a full reboot!
Not impressed and would not recommend sending your child to this school!

i just love this school but we get to much homework it take me at least 3 hours to finish it but its really nice - From a 6th grader

A new teacher just referred to Wilmington Middle school as "a hidden treasure". A great school!, every single student has textbook for every subject, teachers work together and care for their students. Math scores are the best in the area. I agree that after the recent lay offs school is not as clean as it used to be but we are all working together to change that.

Wilmington middle school is the best! the 6th grade gifted scores are the best in the district.
