My child just started at Wallace middle school this year. So far has made honor roll and principals list for all As. Following this he was cut from a basketball team while multiple students under a 2.0 were allowed on the team. When I mentioned it to the coaches and athletic director it was claimed that they are the best players though. Following this my son was playing basketball when a kid turned and hit him in the nose he then tried to hit the kid back and a teacher had stopped him. Even though he did not hit the kid he received the same in school suspension. I did not feel this was the correct actions so I had my son work with me for the suspension days. When he went back the vice principal pulled my son aside in P.E. and began to scold him for missing those days instead of calling and asking me. The teachers principals and coaches are great examples on how to be a bully and do whatever you want to do because you can.

Principal and Superintendent do not care about students. They turn a blind eye to bullying and lie about what staff did or didn't do. They refuse to allow you to view video involving your student. Which is against the law.

My daughter is scoring at the advanced level in every category of the state test so something is going well. She carries a 4.0 every trimester. Teachers seem to be good enough. Textbooks are so bad and so old that none of the teachers use them. That's a big disappointment. There is a distinct lack of shade and the sun is very hot. Some of the air conditioners are way too noisy and are failing. too much artificial light and not enough natural light. This school does not put a high priority on communicating with the parents. Too many farm clubs and not enough intellectual clubs. Poverty level is high in the area which is not the schools fault but it impacts the students.

Horrible School!! I'm so glad I moved out of the Valley for the best for my son's education!!
