i was the kid who was jumped and this shcool is so buns i cant even the teachers here are ok there are a few teachers who suck tho and let me talk bout the administration i have had multiple incidents over a few years that they havent done jack about like when some kid did the hitler salute to me and got a few days detention would not reccomend and bathrooms also suck

this school doesn't handle problems well and I am writing this in class because I am SOOOOOOOO fed up with this horrible school. Some kid got basicaly jumped and the kid got a few days of detention while others get suspended for calling someone a pipsqueak

I have three sons who attended here they had many good and some excellent caring teachers, some who are still teaching there now .
I have been a volunteer with the children for 10 years now and I believe Richardson is a very good school with great students who I still enjoy teaching art to . I'm glad my boys attended here. They still have friends from middle school days.
In fact my living room is full of them now !
All are outstanding people.

Some teachers are decent, but many bad apples ruin the barrel. Having a neurodivergent child, its been a serious struggle getting even the minimum of legally mandated assistance. The teachers seem to lack the basic training on how to handle ADHD kids and they care even less on refining their teaching techniques to handle anything but the easiest of teaching cases. Many teachers also seem to lack basic communication skills when it comes to informing parents of grades or addressing concerns. It is not uncommon simple yes/no for emails to go unanswered and grades to take months to post.

I believe much of the failings are with the administration and their lack on enforcement with the staff. Perhaps that is outside of their immediate control, but I didnt see this level of incompetence at the elementary level. Although Walteria wasnt perfect, the teachers overall seemed to be constantly training and into improving their craft.

Despite my criticisms, some teachers go beyond the call of duty to be available for my child. They answer questions late and encourage my kid to attend study sessions. My child genuinely likes all of their teachers, including the ones that strike me as complete dead beats, so at least my child is still enthusiastic about learning.

Coming from a student myself, I myself wouldn't say this is the best school. This school has many flaws including obvious/most staff not listening to other students and their ideas. Few staff in this school make it obvious that they do not enjoy teaching at this school, or not enjoying their own job overall. The school makes it a hard environment to feel safe, and with some subjects you feel that you are unable to learn because of the environment around you, or also including the fact that most/some teachers are very laid back. I'd give this school a 2.5.

Well, This school is a very good school because well there are a lot of nice teachers there such as, Mrs., Turner, Mr., Sheu, Mr., Mahmood, and some other teachers that are nice but I don't know because they are not in my class period. Yes, you are getting this review from a student. You are probably think that you cant trust a student but hey, I got experience in the the school and I would say this is an amazing school.

honestly this is a great school but if youre with the right people, this year the 6th graders are kind of loud and a little messy and i dont blame them but i feel like they would get in trouble once we go to school again (this is only summer school). 7th-8th graders have a lot of drama this year so i would just say that if you become friends with the wrong people then you messed up real bad bro. otherwise its a good learning experience if you keep yourself on track with the work.

My son has an IEP and he has fallen through the cracks. The staff and district do not care. He has been through 3 para educators and they are all childish and uneducated on how to care for a child with autism. I have battled all year for my son and now I am going to transfer him to a new school.

I would rate this school a zero if possible. It may be suitable for kids of normal functioning but not for a child with autism. The school is run down and constantly under construction. No funding for anything.
