I am extremely disappointed with the way this school handled a bullying incident involving my child. My toddler was bullied by another student, 3 times this school year. His speech is delay makes him more vulnerable, why other kids take advantage of him. And instead of taking the situation seriously and showing concern for his safety and well-being, the response from administration felt dismissive and
unprofessional. As a parent, it is heartbreaking to see your child afraid to return to school because he no longer feels safe in his classroom.
No family should feel ignored when reporting repeated issues involving their child. Schools should create a safe, supportive environment for students, especially young children. I hope the administration takes bullying concerns more seriously in the future and improves communication and accountability with parents.

I am writing this review to share a very serious safety incident that occurred involving my four year old son, who has autism and was enrolled in the special education program at Stoddard Elementary.

My son started school on Monday, January 12, 2026. His first week seemed to be going well until Friday, January 16, 2026. During pickup, parents are required to go directly to the classroom due to the students special needs. When I arrived to pick up my son, he was not in the classroom and was unaccounted for. His teacher did not know where he was, and at that point we realized he was missing.

Multiple adults were present in the classroom at the time, yet no one had noticed that my son had left. We searched and eventually found him alone and unsupervised on the playground, wandering by himself.

Thankfully, he was found safely, but this was extremely alarming given his age, diagnosis, and the fact that he requires close supervision. This situation could have ended very differently.

Due to this incident, we made the decision to immediately remove our son from this school. While staff were notified, the lapse in supervision was significant and unacceptable for a special education setting where safety should be a top priority.

I am sharing this to inform other parents, especially those with children who have special needs, so they can make fully informed decisions.

I love stoddard! I have my 10yr old boy whos been attending stoddard since kindergarten and now he's a 5th grader and he's second yr in a gate class. And my 7 yr old girl, she's a 2nd grader here, she's in the choir program since last year. This is a great school.
Stoddard offers science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. And music classes for free. Kids learn how to play different instruments. Mrs Kwon (music teacher) is awesome, my daughter loves her. Mrs. Kwon loves her kids, she really dedicates her time to teach the kids music/choir.
Awesome teachers for an awesome elementary school!
Wouldn't go anywhere else for my children education.
I'm 110% happy with this elementary! The best!

I have been in 5 other schools and Stoddard is the far most over achieving . The structure and academic goals that are set for every student to successed is amazing. Teachers and Staff are very knowledgeable and professional. I love the diversity it has and how everyone is celebrated and included. I wish more schools took the time to care for children and families like Stoddard does. If parents need help or assistance with their students or any family needs. Stoddard is there to help. I recommend Stoddard to anyone who wants their school to feel like a second home.

I have had three students at Stoddard. The STEAM program.is very strong. The teachers are very strong and push the students. One of my children has a learning handicap and she has been very supported and is making great growth.

One of the best school.. my son is a very smart boy and with excellent teachers that help a lot!

My daughter's school is a great place for her. Although the school struggles with funding and supplies my daughter enjoys her teachers and loves her school. Occassionally, i send my daughter to school with random school supplies to hand to her teacher since we as parents can all do a little extra to help the situation. My 2 kids are attending this school, they love the teachers, who are very nice to the students, motivate and working hard. The Anaheim Achieve after school program help my kids do homework and build their social skill, discipline and team work. it is excellence program that give me a peace of mind while I'm working without watching the clock to pick up the kids on time. Thanks to all the teachers and principle office team, who run the school as a best place to learn for my kids.

great school with great teachers and a gate program! my son loves it there and recently also started the music program. I would recomend this school to anyone.

I've been to this school ever since Kindergarten. Ya this school doesn't have the best of people, but I think that's normal. If you're in the GATE program especially in 6th grade they really push you. In 6th grade GATE at least, an 84% or below is not considered passing. We do tons of projects of projects and it can be very stressful. Even if you're not in GATE program the teachers here genially care about the students, (some most than others) but deep down inside they all care. To the kids in this school a lot of them are very typical they cuss, they care more about dating, wannabe cool people, etc. You just need to find the right crowd. You will get teased at or made fun of occasionally, but you just need to stick up for yourself and not care what they think. Stoddard isn't the best elementary school around, but it can really prepare you for the outside world.

The teachers, principal, PTA, office staff and parents are wonderful. My kids love going to Stoddard School! There are many events and reward incentives for the kids that keep them motivated in reading!

These 4 years that my daughter has been at Stoddard have been good years...as a parent I wanted for her to be confortable with the school, teachers, the campus and everything in general. Once I knew my daughter was happy and wanting to attend everyday...I knew I had made the right decision! I'm very thrilled with ALL staff here :) I'm proud to say that my daughter made it to the GATE program thanks to the efforts and patience from teachers!!!! I'm a very proud parent :)
