Our school believes in a no homework policy. The students are expected to read for 30 minutes per day as their homework. My kids love it!

My son just entered Los Berros, for Kindergarten. It has been the best experience. He has a fabulous teacher who is making our first school year memorable. Great quiet neighborhood, love it!

Los Berros Elementary is very hands on with their kids and families for support through all the cutbacks they are fundraising to maintain what is important for the school and kids. Leslie Wagonseller the Principal is very entrenched on daily school involvement on keeping kids on track at school. Their Safety takes precedence considering that their parking lot is a nightmare to navigate for dropping off special needs kids at the loading zone. Parents dropping off kids in the morning are more aware and not blocking the handicapped parking or the loading zone areas to keep them clear.

I Was a student at this school. I hit my classmates, didn't draw well, had tterrible handwriting but didn't care. I escaped from class while in session and roamed the halls to fix my boredom. Once I even climbed up to the roof of a walkway just to sit alone and contemplate. But I finished college, retired after 21 years in the US Marine Corps and Coast Guard and still serve as a contractor flying helicopters in Afghanistan. Raised two self-confident children and built a nice home. Thanks, Los Beros, for having patience with me.

My sons teacher is always absent ... i mean 2 out of five days, she gives them homework sparingly , and when she does my son doesn't get any, i have spoken to her about this situation and it is still happening, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
