I would definitely not recommend sending your children here. There has been more than one incidents here. Recent one affected my sibling. She was harmed and threatened. Coming from a public safety family and in public safety I am highly disappointed in the administration. La Colina Admin failed at preventing something that shouldnt have occurred and should have been resolved and watched. We met with La Colina Admin several times over this past year to prevent anything from happening. They are mandatory mandators and did not call police. Instead I contacted family in law enforcement and we took it into our hands. La Colina does not report when fights happen on campus, they do their own internal investigation. They tend to hide it so that they get more kids to come there and they receive their yearly grant money. This incident was uncalled for and 100% preventable.

Most of the teachers are fairly nice people but some aren't meant to be teaching the students who are by no means great kids. But the Musical Theatre programs are awesome, best in the district for the age level!

My time at La Colina was horrible. Most of the teachers were unprofessional and barely knew their own student's names.

this school is an absolute joke. i would never send my kids there. most teachers there are terrible, and the classes didn't help my kid prepare for high school. i wouldn't be surprised to see this school shut down soon. i can't believe this school is rated 5 stars.
