Palm Vista Elementary has truly exceeded all of my expectations. The staff here are deeply committed to each childs learning and personal growth they dont just teach, they genuinely care. Every teacher and administrator goes above and beyond to create a positive, nurturing, and engaging environment where students feel supported and motivated to do their best.
I cant recommend Palm Vista Elementary enough to any parent looking for a school that truly partners with families to help children succeed. Its a wonderful place to learn, grow, and feel valued!

A small school that offers community and support. The motto is "At Palm Vista Learning is Required." We have a fantastic PTO, amazing events, multiple engagement opportunities to learn about what is going on at Palm Vista. Students have fantastic staff support, a Wellness Center and SEL counselors, as well as a nurse.

Palm Vista is a wonderful school! The teachers and staff are dedicated to the kids. Palm Vista has many regular family events throughout the year which keep things fun.

This is my daughters second year at this school after transferring from one of the "top" schools in the LA area. I have seen a massive improvement in her educational development and emotional, social well-being. Both her reading and math skills have greatly improved and she has exceeded all of our expectations and goals, thanks to the exceptional team of both teachers and administrators. Dr. Neuma is an amazing principal who shows great care and love for each student. Never have I seen an administrator who knows each and every child's name that walks through her doors. Mrs. Willford has brought my daughter up to the level she should have been and beyond. She takes great care in assisting any child with their individual needs and short comings. The ELOP program is also a great asset for both students and parents. It allows for more individuals assistance with homework and anything the child may be behind on and also provides the children with new and exciting projects. Ms. Emily is great in assisting parents with any questions and is always ready to give updates on your child. My daughter absolutely loves the teachers and staff here. She couldn't wait to get back to school.

This is by far the worst school I've ever sent my kid to! The new principal is worse than the previous one's. She's macromanage. Always try to control the traffic while she's obviously clueless at what she's doing. Looking at her education background and work experiences, they weren't impressive at all and due to her behavior, all other staff that just like her acting like they owned the school. Stopping the parents while driving to talk to them causing delays to others. The management isn't helping either, forcing parents to provide personal information that they should have options either to give out or not just so that they can complete their tasks. Everyone is moving in slow motions and don't know what they doing. I feel bad for the good young teachers/staff that trying to do their best but ended u stuck with these old lazy staff work culture. And for them to handle new generations in order to get our children to the right path is sadly not going to happen with their own terrible ethics. And lastly morongo school unified is also to blame for not being productive and taking matter more serious on their side... This whole unified member seriously need to be cleaned up!

Respect isn't taught in the lower grades outside of Ms Stacey's class. Most teachers are unable to control their students

My children attend this school. I just want to say first off that I have only met one person from the whole office staff that is actually nice and seems to care a lot about each and every child that comes into the office. While enrolling, she was VERY helpful explaining paperwork, etc. I enjoy talking with her every time I come into the school. The dark haired lady, Valerie, I believe her name is has always been rude and seems to have a "I'm better than you" personality. The teachers are hit or miss. There are a few great ones and there are a few that are not so great. Seems like they are just there for the money and nothing else. In my opinion, a kindergarten teacher should have patience with children. Especially when it comes to those with special needs or other issues. Instead a certain teacher has no problem singling out a child to "MAKE AN EXAMPLE" of him even though he has problems. I would change schools in a heartbeat if it weren't for the fact that we only have one vehicle that my husband and I share. I would definitely find out some background on the teachers before enrolling you child. Funny thing is, Palm Vista is supposed to be the "best" in 29 Palms--GOOD LUCK!

My daughter just started kindergarten this year and is already always exited to get back to school each day! Her teacher seems to be doing a great job and my daughter is learning a lot and having fun at the same time.

This school was once a good school . The Principal is horrible with the kids and will be retiring next year. I will be home schooling my child this year because of our experiences at that school. I hope they get a good Principal in there after that one leaves.

Despite some of the bias in the reviews here, this school is right on par with all the other schools in the area. The principal's credentials are a bit suspect (she's a Phoenix) and that unfortunately manifests in the way she handles complex situations. There are plenty of excuses to go around, too. The reason your straight-A, well-kept student will be harassed and demoralized in this school is because of "demographics." The mentality...this is a low-income area, thus the children should be allowed to misbehave. Little unsupervised 'thugs' are allowed to do as they please.

Overall good school. My kid loves it and any problem I have brought to their attention has been resolved quickly.
