My child has been attending UCE for three years and I love this school! I will be sending my younger children as well!! The communication between the school and myself is great. They provide every tool for parents to be involved. They have a relationship with my child he isn’t just another number or test score! He is above state average himself I was surprised by the numbers listed above. It’s a safe, warm, and professional environment. I am very pleased with UCE.

My son is in first grade and is doing much better academically compared to my nieces and nephews in district 6! They teach in different learning style to help each student learn!

The staff are so amazing. They recognize all their students. My son came into this school having a hard time learning. One month into the school year, and he's already learned so so much. It is a safe environment, I don't ever worry. Students come first, always.

See my comment on their ability to effectively build respectful students.

The homework is inconsistent, and rarely has any instruction for the parents. Not to mention it is NEVER used as part of their gradebook for anything but completion.

Have had issues with both communication and consistency with the teachers.

Bullying is ridiculous, and the only form of mediation we ever heard about was a talk between the students, not a talk with parents. Not to mention several incidents of my child being cornered in the bathroom whilst another looked under the stall and taunted him repeatedly.

The most we ever got from Mr. Wildenstein was "This is a school of choice, you chose to be here and if you don't like it you can choose to leave"

This school is a huge waste of time. I heard nothing but wonderful reviews of the prep school and decided to enroll my both of my children here as a result. The experience at the elementary level is so incredibly awful that I would go as far as saying this is one of the worst charter schools in the state.

This school sends progress reports home every two weeks so that parents can check on their child's progress. No other school does this. If you want your kid to not be exposed to education but rather to actually have an education, this is the school. Yes, it is in east Greeley. It's population is diverse. I think that is a good thing.

For as awesome as the prep school is, the elementary school is just awful. I have students in 2nd & 5th grade and have problems with numerous issues. There has been bullying that I have discussed with the teachers and principal but nothing was done, there is no communication from the teachers to the parent if a student who is traditionally a good student starts to struggle, teachers have been rude to both my kids and myself & I personally feel that, aside from reading, their curriculum is awful, but especially in math. It's a disappointment when I chose this school over another charter school.

The school is built in a horrible part of town, the playground is constantly used by children who live nearby, the teachers are often rude to the students, and children are bullied and nothing has been done about any of it.
