This school not only let me be discriminated against for my race and threatened to be killed, but a teacher also joined in to the teasing. Laughing at the jokes students were making about me and did nothing to stop this, after I tried to speak up about it. This was super unprofessional and moral breaking. I do not feel excited to come to school. This has not only happened to me but other students of different races. It lacks diversity and discipline for those people who are making the school an unsafe environment. if you want your student to feel welcomed and supported, enroll them into a school with more diversity.

I was a student here and most teachers didn’t assign homework, and if they did it wasn’t often. We learned all we needed to in class.

The teachers st this school were amazing. They were very caring (of course there were exceptions) and they helped us when we were confused. They used interactive teaching methods (except in math, it was very by the book).

Administration did nothing about bullying situations and often put much more pride into sports and left out arts programs, leaving students feeing left out.

Everything was always very complicated Andre disorganized. People were often left out of certain school activities. Students were bullied and nothing was done.

I would rate my experience at this school, overall, as an 7/10. I felt that I learned a lot and was given opportunities to go beyond the requirements to show I was advanced. I think most teachers here were kind and caring and they genuinely wanted to see their students succeed. There are, of course, always exceptions and some teachers taught the bare minimum. I think what made my experience at this school less than amazing was the community (or lack there of). Sometimes students were kind, and other times the didn’t care. Many students were very rude around peers, but kind around teachers and they were still rewarded for being “up standers”.

I have had one child graduate from WMS and currently have one attending. WMS has exceeding my expectations and has done an excellent job preparing my children for high school.

Wellington has such a commitment to equality and inclusiveness, one wonders if the staff has taken a pledge and/or has it just come to be that way naturally?

In my family's educational experience - which goes all the way up to master's degrees, so far - Wellington stands out for its teaching and administrating. Go Eagles!
