The principal Don Kotnik is not very good. That's why this school scores so low! He likes his teachers to only sit behind a laptop only showing slides! No hands-on, no creativity, no other form of teaching! His teachers also don't always treat the students with respect.

Everyone at this school is not very nice. Most people say the N word on an almost daily basis and I sent a Safe2Tell and literally nothing happened. Everyone makes jokes about 9 11. The pizza was uncooked one time. If you can't afford another school I guess you could go here but I would suggest private education.

I'm a current student at Lesher and I've never been more proud to represent my school. I knew almost nobody going into middle school, since most of my friends were going to another school, and I was so anxious on the first day. It's only been a couple months and I've already met so many new friends. I decided to join tennis, and I'm so glad I did. The coaches are super sweet and so are the kids, they are all so inclusive and made feel welcome even when everything was so new and intimidating. The teachers are also super nice and make sure to keep learning fun by doing breaks outside, fun online learning games, hands on activities, and more. It's all the little things they do to make this school amazing, go Vikings!

I finished middle school at Lesher last year (22/23) and it was an amazing experience overall. Most students are ready and willing to come to school and learn, in large part due to the amazing teachers and staff at the school. They have made great bounds in increasing inclusivity and creating a safe space, and, although it still is far from perfect, it has gotten much better. The only major issues I encountered were safety issues with drugs and vapes, but the administration did as good a job as could be expected of them to crack down on the issue. I'll miss you, Lesher!

We’ve had children at Lesher for the past five years. I can honestly say that each year has gotten worse. And after the 2022 school year we decided to pull our child from this school. The amount of bullying my child received last year was totally unacceptable. Administration didn’t care. 504 plans aren’t followed. I constantly had to remind teachers of my child’s accommodations. Our new school has been like a night and day difference, and even though this is our neighborhood school, my younger children will not attend Lesher. I hope the new administration steps up and does something about the bullying and harassment of students and starts holding teachers accountable to following 504 plans and IEPs.

i hate this school, last year i had slurs screamed at me multiple times and the school didn’t really do anything about it. this year there was a kid that kept harassing my friends and i and the school did do something about it but it took a lot more effort that it should have i also had the vice principal say that it probably wasn’t targeted and its just his personality. the student was only doing stuff like this to people that looked similar to me.

Lesher Middle School is a great school for everyone. There are activities for all sorts of interests, such as many athletic ativities, river watch, student council, math counts, science olympiad, advanced music opportunities, NJHS, gaming club and so much more. The teacher promote a posituve culture and take care of their student's well-being.

Amazing school. I currently attend there and the teachers are amazing and fun. I have learned so much over the years and I'm very happy about my experience there. I have made friends and really feel like a part of a family. They encourage me every day and are there for me. I totally recommended this school and think everyone should have a Lesher family as I do.

The school really places an emphasis in building character and being part of a community and the staff leads by example!

My son has attended Lesher since 6th grade and we are sad this is his last year. What an amazing staff and music program. Any potential bullying issues were dealt with immediately when brought to Mr. Morrow. As a parent, I am proactive with the staff and school events because they are great to work with and I appreciate everything they do. I can't say enough positive things about this place!

This is just our first year, but my son loves it. He is challenged, he feels he is part of a community, he is thriving. Staff are great.

I am a student at this school, and it is absolutely amazing, (otherwise I wouldn't have spent this time to write a review on it). Teachers are supportive and driven, and by your eighth grade year everyone becomes a family. Amazing principal, OUTSTANDING music program, and numerous opportunities. With this school, I have been able to reach heights like never before. From a "simple" trip to the Science Olympiad State Competition in Golden Colorado, to flying across the states to Catalina Island off the coast of California to take part in an environmental leadership program, there are so many things you can do, and my years at Lesher were unforgettable.

First of all, The Teachers are amazing. They push the students academically while still having tons of fun. The school is VERY good at helping students deal with any problems they might be having or help with even the littlest things. The students at Lesher are Smart, Very kind and supportive, helpful, and always willing to give a helping hand. My son Absolutely LOVES this school, and I know that for a lot of you other parents out there, that finding a school that your son or daughter actually wants to go to is VERY hard to come across, well this is that school! Lesher had a real "Family like" feel to it, unlike most middle schools, bullying is vertically non-existent (a very rare find in a middle school) and even the newest students are accepted almost immediately and welcomed into the Lesher Family. Overall this is the best school I have ever been to or heard of and I hope that any parents reading this give Lesher some serious thought. :)

My school is awesome! Our principal is amazing and our music program is fantastic. I'm proud to be a Viking.

Lesher was a good school in 2007, but now it is an abomination to American education and PSD Schools. Do NOT attend this horrid school .

Lesher is a really great school and the teachers are the best. I don't think there is a better school out there.
