I went to this school in 2018, seeing the reviews not much has changed. I went from a straight A, happy, bright student. To a student who only got c's-f's, extremely depressed due to the bullying i wasnt getting ANY help for (the teachers who I did like have since left) and ended up failing out of school. I recently got my GED and am getting back on track, but this school does not care about your student. Please put them elsewhere.

School has gone down hill in a spiral and continues to consistently! Behaviors from students will never be corrected when teachers are bullying students, teachers target students consistently. Newest curriculum they now make students work through their lunches instead of sending any homework home, or even notifying parents. Newest curriculum is awful, ask any of the High School teachers with students from this school. Students are being held to work through lunches to boost their grades but learning still isnt taking place! They run the students like robots and not children, young teens or even young adults! Zero accountability from staff especially the administration! Administration hides behind the issues and never corrects their own behaviors but targets students on not behavior but learning struggles! Highly recommend to stay clear from this school, yet in this town their isn't much options for parents to send students elsewhere!

Look elsewhere even if it's inconvenient. This school does not care about your child. The bullying that goes on there is horrible and it's from both the staff and students towards other students. The staff picks who they're going to pick on for the year. They have not worked with me or their mother, the staff acts like they rule the world. My kids have had nothing but bad times while they were there and they will not be getting my 3rd child.
SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS SCHOOL!!!!

Worst choice a parent could make is to send their students to this school. The staff members are ignorant towards students needs and rude. When I sent my child to this school they were completely healthy, and now they suffer from depression. My child has been assulted once and sexually assulted twice while attending this school ON SCHOOL GROUNDS!!!! Not only that, but has also been tied into drugs, violence, and bullying. The staff members have been little to no help dealing with these problems. If your a parent and your planning on sending you kids to this school, DON'T.

School has made HUGE changes since 2019! New administration! Students and staff are proud to be a Panther! Restorative practices, rigorous lessons, athletics and after school programs engage ALL types of students! Heath is the place to be!

I would rate my experience as an ordeal I never plan to repeat. The Community Member who posted on 2/23/16 was absolutely correct. Send your kids elsewhere. There was almost no learning going on, and the students were rude and disrespectful to adults, with no consequences whatsoever. It is very sad they learned no basic manners at home, but it is equally sad that their teachers and administrators are tacitly condoning their ridiculous unacceptable behaviors (fighting in class, throwing things, threatening, bullying, and pervasive rudeness and disrespect toward visiting adults), and thus ensuring they will grow up to be unemployable drains on society.

Administration tied up with violence, drugs and misbehavior. Teachers burnt out on being disrespected and some even have developed the bad attitudes of the students. Not much growth and learning going on. Send your kids elsewhere.

Administration is very preoccupied with bullying, poor behavior, fighting, drugs, and theft. Teachers are overpowered by unruly students. Teaching and learning are taking a back seat at this school.
