My daughter and her friend were able to walk of campus more than once with no problem. Luckily they came to my house. When I spoke with the school Authorities they told me that "they know students leave campus, they usually just go to the store and come back."
In what world is it ok for yall to be letting middle school kids walk off campus like they're adults...

Students rule this school. They get away with everything and know it. This isn't the fault of the dean because the district makes it nearly impossible to expel students or punish them with appropriate consequences. The staff are in cliques and if you are part of the "in" clique, you are fine. otherwise, you are harassed into quitting or non renewed while probationary for no good reasons.
