My child always received good grades at NCP, even though the work she produced was not of good standard. Now, my child is at college and is unfortunately realizing that the standard that was held for her in high school did not prepare her for college. I wish that I sent my child to Thurgood Marshall academy, my other child excelled over there and TMA prepared her for college
Also, when it came to college prep classes, NCP did not do a good job at preparing my child for the SAT/ACT or at preparing them for what to expect at college, every time I would ask my child has the school help with applying for scholarships and school tours, etc. My child never had a clue on what to expect or what scholarships to apply to

My son has absolutely benefited from the school. My son us truly loyal to this school. The teachers care about the kids and are great mentors for the kids

The staff is excellent, however the school does not prepare the students for college. The English/Grammar class for 11th graders is basic and elementary. The teachers does not give homework. I have to make up homework for my child. I am looking into another school for my daughter 12th grade year. My daughter is on honor roll but is no where ready to explore college.

This school is a great school and has taught children that no matter the background you come from you can always get a good, meaning educational experience.

...... One word to describe the educational program at this school. AWESOME ! The teachers are professional, the administration works hard and all of the staff support the students. Awesome School.
