I dont know what is wrong with this school! It was horrible I mean hooooorrrribleeee! The students disrespectful and ghetto. Teacher rude, disrespectful and always thinking they the parents of the child. Dont get me started on the deans and principals. Mr. Erico dont act like no damn principle. Deans and assistants principle act like they dont want this job neither. They wouldnt let me into school multiple times just because I had crocs on. Which is ridiculous! They are more worried about dress code than education. I would not recommend sending your child to Westside middle school in Jacksonville Florida.

To be completely honest, this school tried to keep me here (Ex-Student). The only reason im NOT there any more is because my FATHER HAD TO CALL THE SCHOOL TO GET THE PAPER WORK. They said it was done on May 26th, yet they never called nor e-mailed like they said that they did. I was bullied here, and got my money and items stolen, over 100$ worth. It is not safe for many people, considering there was also a threat that someone was going to shoot up the school. I would not recommend sending your child here. I only transferred recently to a different school. My experience here sucked. The school didn't do much to the issue i presented to them. I only trust a few people there. So please, either keep your child away or send them to a different school.

Teacher don't care and they don't want to give kids with disabilities the services they need. They like to take them away and try to overrule doctors

This is the best school I have been to and I love the staff and principal

This is the worst school my child has ever attended. The school's assistant principal (female) is the most rude and unresponsive person I've ever met. Since she has became apart of the faculty, the school's students have went chaotic. I've talked to my children and some of their friends and I seems she is the reason. I believe her new rules and schedules is outrageous and just unnecessary. She's the reason this school has become out of hand.

I have 2 children in the school this year and I have been very highly disappointed. This is, by far, the worst school me kids have ever gone to. My 8th grader is in all advanced classes, yet only about 8 of the kids in there with her are actually supposed to be there. The other kids were placed there because "there was no other place to put them". So what is happening is that the kids not interested in learning are disrupting to the point that no one can learn anything and the whole class is 4 weeks behind. My daughter even told me of kids in her class cussing at each other, flipping over a desk, and throwing pencils at the sub, to which the sub could do nothing since disciplinary action by a substitute is apparently against school policy. Seriously?!? Not to mention all the fights and the loaded guns brought to school. My oldest will be in high school next year, but my younger daughter will absolutely be pulled from this school next year. Please do NOT send your kids here if you value their education or safety.

I went to JEB Stuart as a student in the 70s and my child goes there now. I've been disappointed with the communication between myself and my child's teachers.

Parents please volunteer on your childrens schools. I volunteer at this school and took me just one day to realized that it is one of the worse schools my son have ever been. Im a military guy and i move often. My advice to you all is dont send your child to this school raelly its not worth it.
