With all the uncertainty and changes we experienced this year with COVID-19, Somerset Academy SOHO was at the forefront of virtual learning. The school helped our kids stay engaged and keep learning. The teachers have always been committed and patient. Our children have had nothing but great experiences here and they can't wait to get back into the classrooms.

awful experience , if you decide you are going to teach do it with honor, give your best, do not disciminate, by student promotion ,quality of promotion is how you evaluate a teacher .

I couldn't have been happier switching my daughter to this school. Mrs. Leon is amazing and makes the kids feel comfortable and safe.

Well my experience with this school was ok. The teachers were great (ms. Noa & ms. Ruiz). And he loved his teachers. Most office folks were great especially ms. Williams but my kindergartener had to share bathrooms with all grade levels. Not good. He learned alot in this school & he got real sick in this school (intestinal parasites) which is 1 of the major reasons i took him out. Other reason was that the class had too many kids (35). There were 2 teachers in the classroom but i had the understanding that charter schools are suppose to have smaller classrooms. So i take him out of this somerset to put him in another somerset & turns out that i took him from a B school & put him in a C school. I guess it will be a dream to find a great charter school in Homestead in Miami-Dade county!

Great motivated teachers. Even though they were young & lots of folks speak about young teachers = no experience, my son learned alot from them & he loved them. Thank you ms. Noa & ms. Ruiz.

For being such a small school you would expect it to be more organized , but it's not. One year they have advanced classes the following year it no longer exists. The teachers do not update their homework pages on a daily basis.

My son is currently doing 1st grade and I couldn't be happier with this school and the staff. They know every kid by name and that speaks for itself. He loves it there and I'm happy he's happy. The teachers are so sweet and caring and love that they are very communicative with the parents unlike public schools. Love this school and love the staff!

Pulled my son out of this school! Unorganized start of the year for new students unfamiliar with this schools practices, no timetable/weekly schedule available, too many children per classroom, kids sitting with their backs to the blackboard/teacher, PE performed in existing school uniform to include dress shoes required (How can you do PE wearing dress pants, shoes and belts and then go back into the classroom in sweaty clothes??), etc. Bringing concerns to the office is met with a shrug...
