Our son started at Samsula Academy in the 4th quarter of a school year. Within a week, we noticed night and day difference to his demeanor towards school. It wasnt until transitioning him to Samsula did we realize the disservice his previous school was doing to his education. His new teacher immediately identified his areas of concern and they put a plan in place to help him succeed. The teachers and staff all have a truly genuine passion for these kids and their success. Our son says he gets more support and feels like he is learning better than he was at his previous school. He says his teacher is the best and the sweetest hes ever had. He gets excited to go to school and learn and I couldnt be more thankful for Samsula Academy for fostering his growth!

All three of our children attended Samsula Academy from K-5th. We have been a part of this school for 13 years and have loved every moment. Our children look back at their years at Samsula with fondness and great memories. The teachers and staff always treated them with kindness and respect, and provided them with an excellent academic foundation. Thank you to all of the faculty and staff for providing them with such a wonderful elementary school experience.

My son graduated from Samsula last year and my twins have been there for almost two years. The school has made great strides this year and the difference is incredible! We loved it before and we love it even more now!

Love love love Samsula Academy!! Best decision that I could ever make with my childs early education. The school is small in size with smaller classes which I believe gives the teachers a better chance at helping those children that may need some extra time. The teachers are great and so are the administration. Would highly recommend anyone to this great school.

This sweet school has our heart. Everytime Im there I find a new level of appreciation. Teachers that truly care and are there when I have questions or need help and administration that is truly hands on. The best small town feel with a grade A education. We love it and cant say enough about it!!

Samsula is a small school that feels more like a family than a school so it is hard to be the new kid here but most of the teachers and office staff are very good and kind.

We are so happy with Samsula Academy. Our kids academic growth has been incredible! Their teachers are wonderful. I love how involved the families are at the school. Our kids are happy to go to school every day.

We are new to Samsula and so far it has been a great experience! The staff is friendly and communicative which is incredibly important. My children love going to school! No more battles in the mornings about them not wanting to go to school. They actually get excited to go! Thank you Samsula Academy for making my childrens learning fun and exciting too!

I am a teacher at Samsula Academy and happy to say I've been here for over 8 years. I had previously worked at a few different schools in Volusia County, however always felt the students weren't put first. When coming to Samsula, I found it was all about the students and what they needed. We have fabulous family interactions/communication, small class sizes, and I can't say enough about the teachers, staff and administration. We put our all into our students. Now we are an "A" rated school which we are very proud. Samsula is defiantly a wonderful school to consider.

I am a teacher at Samsula Academy and have worked here for 5 years. I had previously worked at several different schools in Volusia County, but it wasn't until coming here that I truly fell in love with this profession. Small class sizes, understanding administration, AMAZING teachers and staff, great family involvement...I could go on and on. Due to our ever-increasing test scores, our school is now rated an 'A' school. As a parent and an educator, I realize that when we drop our kids off at school, we want them to have the best learning experience and I can assure you that here at Samsula Academy, they will receive just that!

If your child isn't advanced in learning they will not work with your child in helping them get better. They do not communicate well either. Very disappointed in samsula academy.

We are so glad we have Samsula Academy for our youngest daughter, who needs engagement with peers and structure! We are happy with how small the school is and how we can always communicate easily with teachers and staff.

My Daughter started at Samsula Academy this year (2023) in Kindergarten. The school is fantastic, the classroom sizes are small, and the teachers are AMAZING. Kindergarten was a hard transition for my daughter, but Ms. Kay and Ms. Dorian have been terrific with doing everything possible to ensure her success. They always have fun activities going on at the school and plenty of volunteer opportunities.

As a former student of Samsula Academy this school was the best Ive been to. It all felt like a family. I felt like I was seen and my opinions and feelings were heard and taken into consideration. I feel as if they set me up positively for my future endeavors.

The school provides a warm loving environment where students are able to be there best. Teachers are outstanding and office personnel are always willing to help. Administrators listen to parents concerns and take care of business. Love this school.

Teacher's and staff come and go at a ridiculous rate and the office staff is rude (Excluding Mrs Diane, she is always kind to the students and parents). Bullying is not addressed even when the parents are concerned.

Don't throw the baby out with the bath water......Samsula Academy will be starting the 2016/2017 school year with roughly 10 new academic teachers, a new art teacher, new P.E. teacher and a new custodian. This is going to be a VERY difficult transition with SO MUCH change.
