Used to go to this school (This review is from a student that has attended this school, but is not there currently. That's why I put other). Only thing I can say about it is that there is; constant vaping in the stalls, constant fights with kids getting jumped if they said something they didn't like, and the school counselors DON'T DO ANYTHING. I'm going to give you a story from my life that happened here. One time I was sitting around, joking with my friends, when some dude grabs me and puts me in a chokehold. Now I'm smaller than the other kids (Still am) which makes me a vulnerable target for literally anyone. Anyway, while I'm in a chokehold, I try to fight back with my elbows and this kid is dragging me across the ag science room, and when this kid is done with me, everyone laughs and I go back to my table crying and humiliated, and guess what. The teacher didn't even notice and asked me why I was crying, long story short, the kid got suspended for like 3 days. Another thing is I was bullied and tormented by many of the kids in my new classroom (I was moved classrooms after the story) and I tried to go to the guidance counselor and tell them about what was happening. Turns out one of the counselors likes to do things "the old fashioned way" and calls them in to chat with them and to tell each other what we feel. After we got back to the classroom, I was known as the snitch, so that was great. The only thing good about that place was one of the teachers and my friends. Sadly the one good teacher retired a couple years ago. Anyway, if you value your child's mental health at all don't send them to this school unless you want them to get jumped by 15 different kids.

this school is horrible there is kids getting beat up and constant vaping i would not recommend any child to go to Marshall it is very bad

School is horrible, there are daily fights, kids vaping in bathrooms, kids are out of control. I would not recommend anyone sending there kids to this school

Majority of students have serious behavior issues. Teachers cannot control classrooms in order to teach the students who do want to be there. Fighting is rampant but administration doesn't take it seriously enough. I wouldn't send my kid here..... the only positive thing I can say is one male teacher has a special class to teach boys about respect and the importance of education.

My daughter attends Marshall she is in eighth grade and is a good student. She complains that it is difficult to learn because the children are so badly behaved and bullying is rampant. She said it is very common for the students to curse out the teachers. That disrespect should not be tolerated. Some classes the teachers spend half the period trying to get control of the class. My daughter has been called every vulgar name in the book for merely accidentally brushing up against another student while walking down the crowded halls and for other slights. However, she has had some very excellent and dedicated teachers at Marshall. It is such a shame that the good students have to suffer because of some bad kids acting up. I wish they would weed out all the problem kids and send them to a school that specialized in helping troubled students. Then maybe the teachers could spend their time teaching kids who want to learn.

I attended Marshall's AVID Open House and my entire family had a great time. We loved the exploding pumpkins. Great famliy evenin.g

Ms Justice is the most awesome teacher on this planet. Probably any planet. I had her, my brother, my daughter & I'm hoping my youngest will get to have her. AWESOME! Marshall is pretty good too. Good counselors and they are very strict so I feel that my child is safe at school. Went to an awards ceremony & the teachers walk the isles like guards at a prison. Love it!

Disappointing that the atmosphere is going down. I was very happy with my child there a few years ago but now too much time spent on problem kids. Administration slow to react to problems. Some terrible teachers that seem to get away with garbage classes even though other faculty and administrators know about the situation. Too bad. Some AWESOME teachers there among just a few bad apples.
